Hello Hivers!!! I know it's a little too late to post about the heart's day celebration, but I just want to share this with you all on how my Valentine's Day went. This blog is very cutesy, and I love the people who are involved here. 🥰
On Valentine's Day I didn't expect to receive from my closest friends in school. I just expect one person to give us a gift, which is her name, Samantha. But as they said, expect the unexpected. I was so happy to receive the gift from my friends. It really touches my heart. So a little background about me is I'm a softhearted person, so it's really hard to control my emotions. I was trying not to cry. Haha.
When Samantha tells us to choose one flower from her handmade bouquet, I'm so happy to choose, but then again later on she tells me and Trisha that the flowers we have are not the ones she will give us; they're different from our other friends. So we got a bit confused, but later on, Trisha and I were so happy because she gave us a crochet flower in a bouquet. Bigger than her handmade bouquet flowers. We didn't expect it, and it really touched my heart. Our other friends got jealous, and they said that Samantha has favoritism. 😆 She then explains to us why it is like that, and they understand her explanation.
On the other hand, Khim also gives us a gift, which is a lollipop that is wrapped with construction paper and tissue. It's very cute and a little unique cause it's my first time receiving that kind of gift. When it's Trisha's turn, it's so funny because she gave us a small fuzzy wire flower with a picture of her face. My other friends have a lot of side comments, and I was just laughing out loud about their comments. On why it is like that. It's very unique, though; you can really remember the person who gives it in the future. 😆
Also, Trisha gave Samantha and me another flower. Now, it's a big tulip flower. I didn't expect to receive another flower from her, but it's very cute because I really want to have those flowers. I've been telling her that I like to buy it. I gave them a Cloud 9 chocolate only; I regret not buying any flowers for them or giving them a nice gift. But I have another plan for them; I just told them that I had another plan soon. They are my best friends. First ever friends I made in school.
We had a lot of time to have lunch, so we planned to eat at Jollibee Danao. We gathered and made our tummies full. I took some photos to document the moment, and my other two friends bought us an ice cream. We're so happy that our request was granted. We really had a great time enjoying and celebrating the heart's day. Even though they have no partners, we still feel the love on that day. Valentine's Day is not just celebrating it with your partners but also with your friends and family.
On evening, I give flowers to my mother, and my partner also gives me a flower. I thought he had no plans on that day because we just said that we will not celebrate it on the day and we will just celebrate it on the same day of our monthsary. I was about to feel disappointed and sulking, but then he surprised me by being outside of our house with a flower in hand. So all I felt about that evening vanished. We just had dinner at my grandma's house that day. Celebrating it with the family.
