Who is Ken Coral?
Welcome to my blog, I'm Ken Yanez, under the pseudonym of Ken Coral, and I want to tell you a little about myself.

ref.5
When I was a kid I used to be interested in science and music, being so, together with my best friend, I would talk about planets and atoms, and in the afternoons I would go to my music classes. So, I kept myself in an active routine of learning more about astronomy (to have conversation topics with my best friend), and part of my routine was also practicing music, that way, being ahead of the rest of the music class. Ambitious, right? well, I find that word perfect to explain the purpose of my blog.
As time went on, I realized that I was always trying to stay ahead of everyone else, and if I couldn't do it, I tried to have an ace up my sleeve. As it happened one day in the classroom, I was in the 4th year of high school, and from one moment to the next, I looked up from my notebook and noticed that the rest of the class began to take out pictures and some others were also taking out models. I, being quite confused about the situation, ask the classmate in front of me about the topic and it turns out that that day we had to present in the computer class about Excel logical functions, but the condition of the evaluation was to do it in a creative way and in the most understandable way possible. At that moment I was very worried, but I was not able to understand what was going on.
At that moment I was very worried, but for my luck, as I told you, my last name is Yánez, and the teacher called according to the last name in alphabetical order; so I had time to calm down, learn from the expositions of my classmates and come up with a plan, the thing is that I had none.... There were two more people to go before my evaluation time, and the moment I realized that, I opened my bag, took out a book, and for no other reason, tore a blank page out of it, and started writing the names of the functions with a marker, after that, I cut them out and somehow hoped that it would do me some good, but I had no more time.
ref. 6
ref.7
Then, at that moment, the teacher said my name, followed by a "go to the blackboard to present the evaluation "; I stood up from my chair trying to look confident, which was difficult to observe that everyone was focusing their eyes on me, since they noticed that I had nothing more than some papers cut out in my hand. It was the moment of truth, I arrived at the blackboard with no ideas in my mind, I turned around and introduced myself out loud, but just then, I saw my salvation; the miracle of my morning; the elixir of life.... An acrylic whiteboard marker.
ref.8
ref.9
I took it and immediately gave one of the best presentations of my life, along with papers taped to the whiteboard, as well as arrows and shapes that I was drawing and erasing as I explained the logical functions of Excel. The professor loved that I confidently tackled the rest of my presentation, and that I did it in a way that was very easy to understand and dynamic to the eye, thus getting him to score me 20/20. And right there I noticed, that what makes someone stand out is not their thorough preparation, but their self-confidence, for this psychological element is very powerful, as mentioned by Stephen R. Covey, best-selling author.

ref.11
ref.12
Lastly, I want to mention that the purpose of this post, is to introduce myself.... I am Ken Coral, an ambitious person, eager to learn about Personal Improvement and how I can apply it to my life and my interests in Marketing Strategies. And I also want to mention that I have a bit of Graphic Designer as you could notice in the images in this blog.
So, welcome you to stop by my blog, where I will be writing about the things I learn from books, videos, articles and the occasional anecdote. So that together we can improve ourselves as people and as visionaries that we are.
Thanks for reading :).
