Banana is a very popular fruit in the Caribbean, due to its rich flavor and versatility in preparing delicious meals, people who consume it cannot imagine that when eating this rich fruit, they consume vitamins A, B6 and C and minerals,like magnesium and potassium, lots of fiber and carbohydrates.
banana, in addition to being rich in vitamins and minerals, has endless health benefits, among which stand out:
• It is ideal for constipation and regulating digestive processes due to its fiber content.
• Provides energy to the body, as it is a source of potassium.
• Helps regulate blood sugar levels, due to its vitamin B6 content.
• Banana is very useful for depression, due to its content of an acidic amino acid called tryptophan, essential to produce serotonin, which is known as the hormone of joy.
• Banana is ideal to relieve nausea and dizziness.
• It favors cardiovascular health, the consumption of potassium and reduction of sodium consumption can prevent you from suffering from heart problems.
• It is rich in antioxidants such as vitamin A, ideal to prevent the deterioration of the cells of our body.
As if that were not enough, in addition to these benefits, you can also use your scoop which is ideal to relieve bites, placing the inside of the shell on the affected area. Banana is a wonderful fruit, and for you to take advantage of its benefits I will give you an easy and rich recipe for tostones, below are the ingredients:
• 1 green or slightly ripe banana.
• Oil for frying.
• Salt for dressing.
Preparation:
Its preparation is very easy, first you must peel the banana, then cut it into 2cm slices approximately, fry it to medium heat for 2 minutes on each side, until they turn yellow like the photo.

then they are removed from the fire and with the help of a plastic you place it, cover it and with the help of a spatula you apply pressure with your hand to crush it and form the toston.

Finally when you have the toston, the trick is to fry again so that they are crispy until golden and ready !!! Enjoy the banana flavor and take advantage of all the benefits it offers you.
