My breakdown of How an Art block led to an Art about an Art block

I am extremely sorry it took me long to post as I had no access to laptop due to shortage of electricity here , I will be posting more processes starting tomorrow actively.

This is one of the work I did when I had an art block . If you dont know what is an art block ; It is like a situation that happens to every artists when they cannot utilize their creativity to create something and get stucked on what to create. We artists can get really exhausted mentally and physically when facing art blocks .
As I mentioned I was really frustated and sad that I couldnot come up with any concept. I decided to consult a close fellow artist who goes by the name "GreyWasHere" and they gave me a concept to work on and thanks to their support , I came up with this final piece. The base concept credit goes to her.

Below is my final piece along with the breakdown of how I slowly came up with it

So they gave me the following base concept :

It is a really great concept but I was still having trouble on how what to express , so it became a kind of challenge for me . And having an art block , sometimes challenges like this can strike the creativity inside you .
I observed the base and concluded it has something to do with emotions spilling and then I released it kinda matches up with the feeling of an actual artblock itself .
I know it may sound weird , but I got the concept to illustrate an artblock while having an artblock.

so I applied basic textured brush colors to the drawn base and it came out like this;

I didnot fully color it because I felt like I could add some elements to express the feeling .

An artblock is like a knife stabbed to an artist's creativity and like that I decided to stab the piece with a sword . But then suddenly , I release I am creating a situation of me drawing the situation , it was like inception ! I had an artblock and it was stabbing me and with the help of the concept I bring out my creativity . and a pen is exactly what can express the action that my creativity is spilling .
so I added a sword and when stabbed with my creativity it became a pen !

You see how amazing the world of creativity is right? What I was going through came right into the piece!

Then I added a final background where the focus isnot distracting .

and Ta-Da ! It came out well!!!

I am going to start a new art challenge for myself to draw one polygon animal everyday starting from tomorrow with free commercial use for hive members and my viewers .
