I hope you are having a great week, I've been a bit full with college assignments but in spite of that today I've come to share content to this beautiful community. This time I want to share with you a very interesting and entertaining battle in the great game Splinterlands, without a doubt it has been an excellent battle and I am very excited to share it with you so let's start!
Battle
This time I am using water sliver monsters, except for one monster Scavo Hireling which belongs to the neutral sliver and which we will talk about later. I have combined my monsters with Kelya Frendull as a summoner which I think is perfect since the abilities of this summoner are very good on the battlefield. Everything seems perfect in my deck and I think the victory could be easy, however, when I saw my opponent's monsters I saw something interesting and I felt a little uncertain about what could happen in the battle because my opponent besides using the same splinter as me, water splinter, also had the same summoner Kelya Frendull.
At the beginning I was not sure how the battle would unfold because we were using the same summoner and the same splinter, but this did not stop me and I concentrated on planning my strategy and putting confidence in my monsters. In the first round my opponent and I were a little even in the battlefield, both his monster in the first position and mine endured the first attacks, however his first monster was very damaged due to the powerful attacks of my monsters and by the second round it didn't take long for my monster Ice Pixie to finish with his card in the first position.
I was a little surprised because the next rival monster in the first position managed to withstand all my attacks until round 4 where he was defeated. I started the fifth round with numerical advantage in terms of cards and by this round I could see how my strategy was working, the rival monster Merdaali Guardian was in the first position but did not hold long and I managed to destroy it very quickly. Then in round 6 I managed to finish with his last two monsters in a very fast and effective way, crowning myself as the champion of a perfect battle because none of my monsters was defeated.
Standards
For this battle I had the following limitations:
Standard: No modifications to the rules and mechanics the standard game.
Mana to spend: The mana allowed for this battle is 25 points.
This great battle is carried out without modifying the standard rules and with 25 points of mana to spend which is an acceptable number, considering the abilities of my monsters and making good use of these points I was able to create a good strategic plan that led me to victory.
Cards used
Let's see the stats and abilities of my monsters used in this battle:
Kelya Frendull: as I mentioned earlier for this battle we have a powerful and skilled summoner Kelya Frendull, this summoner gives my monsters a shield point and a speed point which makes my monsters start the battle with a bit of an advantage in terms of speed and shield.
Djinn Oshannus: this monster with the appearance of Poseidon himself reduces damage from magical attacks, has incredible stats as it has 10 health points, 5 speed points and 2 magic attack points which makes it one of the fastest monsters and with more life on the battlefield, it is certainly an advantage to have it in your deck.
Venari Wavesmith: this incredible monster has the powerful ability to grant two armor points to all allied monsters, statistically it has 3 life points, 2 speed points and 1 magic attack point.
Merdaali Guardian: this red-haired and mermaid-like monster has three health points and two speed points, to these statistics we combine a powerful ability that was key in the battle and that is that for each round Merdaale restores a part of the health of the monster in the first position.
Scavo Hireling: it is a monster with the appearance of a mole, it differs in the battlefield for being the only one with a different splinter because it is a neutral splinter, it has the ability to regenerate a part of the armor of the friendly monster whose armor has received more damage. It has 1 health point and 2 speed points.
Ice Pixie: this flying ice pixie has the ability to have a higher chance of evading melee attacks and ranged attacks from monsters that do not have the ability to fly. Statistically, it has one health point, 3 speed points and one magic attack point.
Strategy
For this battle the key strategy was focused on life and shield points, besides having a high speed, you could say that it is a kind of defensive strategy, since using Kelya Frendull as a summoner this gives a point of speed and one of shield to my monsters which have very powerful protection skills. My strategy consisted of positioning Djinn Oshannus in the first position because having 10 health points makes him a very powerful tank to resist the rival attacks, besides this Venari Wavesmith helped Djinn to resist rival attacks because thanks to his great ability he gave him two points of armor, But this is not all because Merdaali played an important role in the battlefield because he also served as Djinn's support by restoring his health and Scavo was not left behind because by regenerating part of the armor of the allied monster that has received more damage in its armor this helped Djinn that by placing it in the first position was effectively the monster that received more damage in its armor.
As we can notice this combination of monsters has managed to have a monster in the first position almost indestructible, this is evidenced in the battle because none of my monster was defeated because Djinn withstood all the rival attacks during the 6 rounds thanks to its high life points and the skills of my monsters that helped him to regenerate, this powerful combination led me to have a great perfect victory.
Used chips
As I mentioned I used water sliver and a monster with a neutral sliver. The interesting thing is that my opponent also uses water sliver, so I decided to tell you a little bit about this water sliver. The water sliver is undoubtedly one of the most powerful in the game, if you are a beginner in the game I would recommend you to use this sliver because its monsters stand out for being strong and with a very good defense, besides having many monsters with high speed which makes you have an advantage in the game, but this is not all, you must take into account that this sliver works very well together, because the powerful abilities of its monsters combine very well with each other, with this you can create very effective defensive strategies as we have seen in this battle. We can say then that the water splinter is one of the most complete splinters and the combinations of skills of its monsters are able to lead you to a perfect victory.
What would you try differently?
Although I have achieved an excellent combination of my monsters I think an effective change can be to put Venari and Merdaali in the last positions, because if we face an opponent who has a lot of damage would be able to finish with Djinn which would make Venari finish in first position and then Merdaali so surely we can not take full advantage of their skills, which is why I think a change that would increase my defense is to put them in last position so that always my monsters in first position are supported and regenerated by Venari and Merdaali. I also think that the positioning with which I have played this battle has been amazing and very effective.
