It looks very beautiful doesn't it?
Тhis was the view from one of the places where I worked. Wondering what this place is?
Аctuallly this is a warehouse base, which is located in the industrial zone of the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia.
As you know, when you are a student you do not have the opportunity to start a high-paying job and the opportunities are not many.
The reasons are both the lack of experience and diplomas, but also the schedule from the university. Fortunately for me, I was able to find a job that I could combine with lecturing and studying. Let me be honest with you - I did not continue to work it for more than two months, because it was really heavy.
But what exactly was my job?
In the commodity business, one of the main factors is the warehouse. This is the place where, to a large extent, all transactions of a company take place.Quite often companies change their warehouses bases to improve their logistics.
The job I had was to dismantle the entire warehouse, as the company has decided to move out of the capital Sofia and go to another city.
When I first entered the warehouse there were 4 floors. Then my boss told us that when we were done, there should be nothing left.
To the basics!
Then my torment began. I'm а hardworking guy and I don't complain about work.
In the beginning, the job was to unscrew the wooden boards with a screwdriver, but at one point we realized that we had to take them down on foot.
The people I worked with were men over the age of 50 who didn't really need to develop personally. That was also the reason I was working on listening to audio books. During the lunch break, I avoided talking to them, as the main topic of conversation was what happened yesterday on the TV shows they were watching.
One of the hardest things to wear was these blue beams.
A beam weighs about 70-80 kilograms, but the complexity came from the fact that two people had to lower it.
The majority of the people in Bulgaria believe that one man should understand everything - from plumbing, electricity, mounting / dismounting things, from turning, forging, etc.
Due to this, the fact that the electricity hit me may be for the better.
At one point we managed to dismantle about 2 floors and we could already use machines.
It took us maybe 8-9 working days. I didn't need to go to the gym, because I certainly carried about 5 tons a day.
If you do not know how to lift weights properly, you may have low back problems. You will then need to see a doctor or watch @iliyan90's videos. By the way, check out his yoga classes.
When you see progress, you definitely calm down. I love seeing the results.
I remember when we were half done, I had an exam in Social Entrepreneurship. I finished my work at 1 p.m., and at 3 p.m. I was at university. Pretty tired ..
This machine is very helpful in case you need repairs in a high place.
It is also used to remove elevators.
In the end, when we finished dismantling, I was exhausted. I decided that the money I received was not worth harming my health. Focusing on university and mental activity was my priority after this job. In the end, I learned a lot from this work, I worked hard and I do not regret it.
Тhe only think that I can say is :
It does look like dangerous work. Thanks for sharing.
Yep, it was dangereous :) Also very hard.. Students years :))
Well done, @lyubo19! Nice post! We all have gone through some tough and difficult jobs in our life. I also used to have different not-easy jobs, i.e. working in a factory, working as a removal worker, working in a logistic center and unloading cargo from containers, etc. Eh! That's the life!
You got some good photos too! Also, looks like a cool place.
I started to follow your journey, hope to see more from you!
Thank you man! :) You will see more I promise :)
