Today I want to introduce you to a delicious and local food called "Green bean stew"
You can use minced meat or chicken instead of sliced meat
If you are a vegetarian, you can use soy instead of meat
ingredients for Green bean stew:
Mutton 300 grams
Green beans: 2-3 cups
Butter or oil: as needed
Onions: 1-2 pieces
Tomato paste: 1 ounce
Salt, turmeric, black pepper: as needed
verjuice or lemon juice : in the required amount( About 2 tablespoons)
How to make Green bean stew:
Wash and dry the green beans before chopping, then take the top and bottom, and chop them.
Put the chopped green beans in a pot of boiling water for a few minutes, then take them out of the water for a few minutes and fry them with some oil.
(You can not fry green beans to prepare this stew and use it semi-raw. It will cook in the stew)
Cut the meat into cubes and wash. Then cook the meat with some chopped onion, turmeric, pepper and some water.
Keep the broth to use in the stew
Chop the onions and fry them in oil in a saucepan until light.
Pour the cooked meat into a frying pan, pour some oil and some broth
Then add the paste and fry it a little with the meat to eliminate the raw smell of the paste
Add some salt and turmeric to the stew
let the stew settle on a low flame and the stew water should be completely reduced.
Add salt and Verjuice at the end of cooking
This stew is one of those foods that is a very convenient food despite the relatively long cooking time (of course, if you use a pressure cooker, the cooking time will be shorter).
The food is usually served with bread or rice.
