I have no words to explain to you
the happiness you have left in me,
like a serene river that flows constantly,
your arrival has made my being overflow.
My world is shaken, in a dance of lights,
your shining eyes, beacons in the night,
each ray of sunshine that your laughter induces,
Awakens in my breast a myriad of splurges.
You have laid bare my emotions,
fragile whispers that were silent before,
like a blank canvas painting reasons,
my dreams come to life, never to be forgotten.
Excellent entry. I loved reading each of the words written, but especially the change that this poem has left.
