indefenso, flaquitico
luchaste como un torito.

Muchas noches ya extenuada
sin dormir yo te observaba,
siempre velando tus sueños
día a día, más te amaba.

Mientras yo te amamantaba
las manitos tu acomodabas,
mientras yo te acurrucaba
tus ojitos me observaban.

Te escuché una vez decir
¡MAMÁ! por primera vez,
no lo podía creer,
a todos se lo conté.

Fuiste un niño precoz
lo supe desde un principio,
tu maestra lo confirmó
tu aprendías rapidito,
Siempre inquieto, así creciste
amistoso, inteligente y feliz.
Un día en hombre te convertiste,
ya no necesitabas de mí.

¡Hijo! eres una bendición
ya Dios te dio la victoria
solo aguarda, se paciente
un gran porvenir te espera.

Nueve meses esperé
para poder conocerte,
mis abrazos poder tenerte,
mi mente siempre pendiente
de aquel bebé sonriente,
que la vida me regaló.

These days my eldest son has completed one more year of happy and pleasant existence, which has been my inspiration to make this type of publication for the first time.

This is a poetry written from the depths of my heart, remembering those moments of many expectations during my pregnancy (something complicated), waiting for his birth, then seeing him grow up to become a healthy, strong and determined man, with many dreams and goals to achieve.

Nine months I waited
so I can get to know you.
My hands can touch you,
my mouth to lull you,
my lips to kiss you.

Cesar Edward I called you
that sixteenth of August, 1994
when in the evening
I felt your scream at birth.

I felt a great emotion
I AM MOTHER! I screamed.
I thanked God
for seeing my mission accomplished.

You clung to life
being fragile, little,
helpless, weak
you fought like a bull.

Many nights already exhausted
without sleep I was watching you,
always watching over your dreams
day by day, I loved you more.

While I was nursing you
the little hands you were accommodating,
while I was snuggling you
your little eyes were watching me.

I heard you once say
MOM! For the first time,
I couldn't believe it,
I told everyone.

You were a precocious child
I knew it from the beginning,
your teacher confirmed it
you were a quick study,
Always restless, that's how you grew up
friendly, smart and happy.
One day you became a man,
you didn't need me anymore.

Son! You are a blessing
God already gave you the victory
Just wait, be patient.
a great future awaits you.

Nine months I waited
so I can get to know you,
my hugs can have you,
my mind always on
of that smiling baby,
that life gave me.
