Nunca he sido la mas fiel creyente de la iglesia católica, siempre he tenido mis reservas con la religión. No me mal interpreten, no me considero atea ni mucho menos, sencillamente son algunas diferencias con respecto a cosas muy puntuales. Siempre he pensado que hay que respetar las creencias de cada persona y jamás intentar obligar a terceros a ver las cosas como uno las ve. Sin embargo, ese no es el tema del día de hoy, sinceramente este es un post mas con el spam de graduación.

Aclaro lo primero porque hoy vamos hablar de uno de los actos mas emblemáticos, al menos de este lado del mundo, que hay durante las graduaciones. La misa de grado, como lo dije al inicio no soy una persona que viva metida en la iglesia, pero la verdad que desde mi perspectiva lo tomé como un acto mas, y la verdad es que estuvo muy bonito y conmovedor puesto que el padre que llevó a cabo la misa dijo unas palabras muy bonitas sobre la vocación del médico y el servicio que presta a su prójimo, mas que de religión, me quedo con esas palabras, que me hicieron reflexionar sobre muchas cosas.

The high school mass, as I said at the beginning, I am not a person who lives in the church, but the truth is that from my perspective I took it as one more act, and the truth is that it was very beautiful and moving since the father who He held the mass said some very nice words about the vocation of the doctor and the service he renders to his neighbor, more than religion, I am left with those words, which made me reflect on many things.
Y es que como médicos nuestra formación siempre se basa en la parte científica, en el conocimiento de la información, pero muy poco se enseña en la facultad sobre esa relación médico - paciente; al final las personas te confían su bien mas preciado, su salud. Y aunque obviamente uno tiene que tener muy clara la teoría y el conocimiento científico, ese calor humano también es necesario, ponerte en el lugar del otro, entender el malestar y ser amable. Ayudar sin discriminar un color de piel o nivel social, eso convierte al médico en un buen profesional.

Help without discriminating a skin color or social level, that makes the doctor a good professional.
