El espagueti sin cocinar / Uncooked spaghetti.

Mis amigos espaguetis,
se cocinaron en agua caliente
y quedaron muy aldentes.

Yo me dormí profundamente,
hasta que una hormiga vino a verme
y me llevo cargado al plato verde.

My spaghetti friends,
cooked in hot water,
were very tender.

I slept soundly,
until an ant came to see me
and carried me to the green plate.

Era un plato verde de lechuga,
donde la pasta permanecia sin premura,
pero yo, yo quedé demasiado dura.

Fue una imprudencia de mi parte,
dormir, cuando debía cocinarme
y ahora así, no me querrá nadie.

It was a green plate of lettuce,
where the pasta remained without haste,
but I, I was too hard.

It was imprudent of me to
sleep when I was supposed to cook myself,
and now nobody will love me like this.

Y mientras yo lágrimas sacaba,
la sal y el agua me hicieron blanda,
las lágrimas me cocinaron sin causa.

Ahora hago parte del plato,
no soy diferente como ocurrió hace un rato,
soy un espagueti aldente y bien presentado.

And while I drew tears,
the salt and the water made me soft,
the tears cooked me without cause.

Now I am part of the dish, I
am not different as it happened a while ago,
I am a spaghetti aldente and well presented.
