El hilo rojo, rojo / A red, red thread

He traído un corazón,
lo compré en el exterior,
hasta hoy me llegó
y me agrada su color.

En la sala ubicó este corazón,
no puede recibir lluvia ni calor,
acá estará mejor,
protegido de toda situación.

I brought a heart,
I bought it abroad,
until today it arrived to me
and I like its color.

In the living room I placed the heart
it can't receive rain or heat,
here it will be better,
protected from all situations.

Y llega mi perro,
a quien le atrae este objeto,
empieza a jugar con este sin miedo
y lo deja caer sobre el suelo.

Entonces, debo hacer una intervención,
le digo que deje el corazón,
lo levanto con precaución
y lo acomodó de nuevo en la habitación.

And my dog arrives,
who is attracted to this object,
starts to play with it without fear
and drops it on the floor.

So, I have to make an intervention,
I tell him to leave the heart,
I pick it up with caution
and put it back in the room.

El corazón en la soledad,
comienza a brillar más,
le crecen hilos de roja tonalidad
y mi perro y yo nos acercamos a observar.

Cada uno toma un lado,
es el hilo del que tanto se ha hablado,
aquel que une los corazones mágicos
que llevan amor sincero y magno.

The heart in solitude,
begins to glow brighter,
threads of red hue grow on it
and my dog and I approach to watch.

We each take a side,
it is the thread of which so much has been said,
the one that binds the magic hearts
that carry sincere and great love.
