parece que se cubrió de tierra,
seguramente jugó contenta
y olvidó quitarse la suciedad extrema.
This leaf is very black, it looks like it's covered with dirt,
surely it played contentedly and forgot to remove the extreme dirt.
Va ensuciando todo a su paso,
es que la hoja no tiene ningún cuidado,
la regañó por un rato,
pero ella no entiende el idioma que hablo.
She is dirtying everything in her path, the leaf is not careful at all,
I scolded her for a while, but she doesn't understand the language I speak.
Ya más yo no me enfado
y a la tina la cargo,
la baño por un rato
hasta que está verde como en tiempos pasados.
I don't get angry anymore and I load it into the bathtub,
I bathe it for a while, until it turns green as in times past.
La hoja sale de la tina
y a la tierra regresa solita,
debo entender que es su entorno
y respetar su cuerpo mugroso.
The leaf leaves the tub and returns alone to the earth,

y respetar a cada quien,
somos distintos
y el mugre a algunos se le ve bonito.
