Hello...Everyone...I'm maungthan and from Myanmar. Today is the second days in GEMS community. In the first day, I wrote about the I will take you to Mawlamyine (Part#1). Today is turn to Part#2 and I will show you one of the ancient place in Mawlamyine, Mon State , Myanmar.

In fact, this place only became popular about 10 days ago. A man from Moulmein arrived unexpectedly. Then he took a photo and posted it on his Facebook page. Within hours Within days, the place became famous. I lived in Moulmein for a long time. But I only know this place now. It is located on the Naga Mountains in Moulmein. To get there, you can go up the stairs next to the Great Buddha. There is a narrow road next to Kyaik Thalan Pagoda and you can go there. It is a good idea to visit when the opportunity arises. It is quite old and dilapidated. Algae is rising. I do not know the history of this place yet, I will investigate and share it next time. All I know is that it was once an old monastery.

You can always find it at monasteries and temples all over Myanmar. These lions are guarded. The lions in this picture are big and quite tall. At one time, it was proud. Now it is broken. A lion has no face. It is broken. And their whole body was covered in algae. You can see it in the picture below.
Large old building walls
One ruined building is still standing. Ancient art can be seen on the massive walls and high walls. It is quite large and strong. There are a lot of photographers. Because this place is so beautiful. Many people came to see it. They take photos. Below you will see the amazing structure and ruins of the building.
Road to old Monastery
The road to the old monastery is old. Everywhere is covered with trees and algae. By the side of the road, there are big trees and shade trees. It is quite calm and pleasant. It will bring you peace of mind. It will cool your eyes.
