The vaccine is common here but I was restricted from taking it.
They said that people with underlying sickle cell disorder should not take the vaccine.
Its so unfortunate for me.

^^ im fine yesterday was a crazy election and im so glad the far right did not win my voting district despite being the strongest political party in my voting district (german voting rules are complicated)

i would think get vaxxed anyway. i have now 2 vaccinations and here incidence rate shot up to 414... hospitalization is now over 7 per 100 000 per week and hospitals are filling up. a guy from stiko (our independent vaccine commision made up of researchers) said that covid would likely last 4 more generations before we can eradicate it, so i would assume the probability of you getting infected by covid sooner or later is almost 1. so might as well get infected after being vaccinated rather than before...
