Seriously during the lockdown staring at the computer screen all day, taking a break to eat food, then staring at netflix in the evening got old really fast. I needed a hobby that didnt involve a screen.
The problem with DIY is if you pull a thread it all starts coming apart and you have to keep going. When I did the grass, the walls looked old, so I needed new walls, then the paving looked old, so I needed new paving ... It reminds me of a friend who told me a story about buying an expensive tie, then he realised he had no shirt to wear it with so he had to buy an expensive shirt, then a suit ...
Lol. That is true, one you start poking at it all you just saw more and more.
They made me work from home so I had barely a minute. I did do some decking, painting and concreting. Like you I was amazed at how easy that quick set prepared stuff is to use. I fixed all manner of gaps and cracks!
