I think from childhood creating something out of waste is one of my hobbies. I keep myself engaging in reusing and recreating. And It's a good habit for our environment as well.
- I never throw papers as I recycle them to create new ones.
- I reuse plastic bottles to grow new plants.
- I reuse glass jars for storage.
- I reuse plastic cuppa noodles cups as planters.
- I reuse paper bags by giving them a new look and many more.
And I am very much inspired form artists who create paintings from plastic waste. Hope to try this soon.
So, let's get back to today's post. Which is art on wooden blocks. I found these blocks on one of my interior sites. I found 6 of them in very rough and raw condition. So, I took them and bring them home and cleaned them. The moment I saw them I decided to use them in my next DIY space project.
Let Me explain to you with the pictures... :)
This was the actual condition of the blocks.
I did some abstract art on the blocks with acrylic paint.
Have a close look of each and every block.
Now, check out how I utilized them as an art piece for my DIY reading room. And to highlight them I painted a darker shade of grey in a L shape. Enjoy some pictures from my styling.
Note* Hanging lamp is another DIY from bamboo sticks and tread.
I hope you liked this post. See you in the next one till then stay happy and connected. :)
