One facebook (web 2.0), you make a post, you can delete it, but facebook actually owns your account and everything you create, so... maybe they keep it, even though you delete it and can no longer access it. They can, they own it.
On hive, (web 3.0) what you post is locked to your keys. No one can edit it or censor it, but you. If you delete it, no one can stop you, or retrieve it. You own it, not Hive.
