hoy les voy hablar de como se hace el queso llanero, muy conocido y apreciado en nuestro pueblo, hay muchas variedades de quesos, pero el llamado queso llanero de mi region se debe a su consistencia dura que sirve para rellenar arepas empanadas y agregarlo a otras comidas.

Lo primero que hacemos es recoger y ordeñar el ganado, esto se hace en las primeras horas de la mañana, para asi aprovechar y tomarnos nuestro cafe con leche, la leche se va echando en un recipiente en este caso se hecha en este envase llamado cantara que es de aluminio, luego se deja reposar la leche durante media hora pasado este tiempo le echamos el cuajo, luego se deja reposar por media hora mas esto hace q la leche se cuaje y se forma una masa que luego la trituramos con las manos para que se termine de cuajar quedando un residuo llamado suero.

Esta masa la sacamos en un recipiente se le hecha sal al gusto y se mete en un envase donde se termina de formar en un queso duro ya listo para comercializar y para nuestro consumo.
