Hi guys, today is my birthday and I also mean that literally, I was born into this world exactly on a Sunday, approximately 28 years ago, and it happens to be that today is yet another Sunday. Should that mean something?
I'm usually not the type to announce my birthday's, its not because I feel special, it was never just something we emphasized in my family while I was growing up beside the occasional chanting of "Happy Birthday" from members of the family to everyone moving on in a flinch and of course the occasional forgetting and one person having to remind the others, we are weirdly wired like that.
Some people take their birthdays to reflect upon their life, while others wait till its the end of the year. I do neither, because I reflect on my life almost everyday. My Ex girlfriend will usually find me zoning out in the middle of our conversations while she kept on talking, it made us fight a lot, not the zoning out, but the fact that I couldn't share the thoughts.
Worry worry worry....worrying about the past, worrying about the future, worrying about the present even though most of the things I worried about were beyond my control, this was just typical me growing up.
Anyway sometimes around 2years ago, I decided to stop worrying so much, of course it didn't happen over-night, even though I still worry these days, its a lot less compared to what it used to be and I'm glad about that. What is a life lived worrying? Not much I guess.
