Water can take so many forms that its ability to create shapes is almost limitless. The splash of a water drop being captured at just the right time can look quite artistic, and it can be done without leaving the house. I use a flash to help freeze the action, and it is the type of shot that is worth trying many times over as you will get something different each time. The reflections and shimmering light can really add to the image and in editing I took the time to find ways to enhance the look of each shot, working with the colors and shimmer of the water to make each image stand out a little more. Its the type of photography that is rewarding in both taking the shot and in doing postprocessing, as you get to be creative with very few limits.
