Hello Hiveians
Its early morning and am in a rush to make a simple gown i will rock to work today, the weekend kept me busy and i want to start a new week with a new look
I got a brown shinning velvet material and because this fabric is super stretchy i dont need a seam allowance, just my straight bodice measurements with a round neck and a cap sleeve
To get a desired pencil shape of the dress i took out 2inches measurement out of the knee circumference of the the knee length .
The velvet fabric is too stretchy and kept folding, i needed extra hands to keep it in shape and we ended up doing a collective cutting 💇.
There is not a special thing to this simple dress, and all I need do is to stictch the sides, join the sleeves and am good to go.
I am to resume office at our fashion school by 9 am and here i am rushing a new look outfit for a new business week. I just hope i dont get late this morning.

Now we need model photos :-DDD I am curious how the dress fits. I always have problems get tailored / slim garments to fit ...
Oh, that should not be an issue at all.
Once a standard body measurements is used, the cloths will definately fit, but if it doesnt, the model or customers measurements can be taking again...
There are also contouring guide from pattern illustration that helps give clothes their perfect fitting when applied.
