I want to share with you a recipe that I enjoy very much, it is super delicious and crunchy, it is a variant of the recipe for the traditional Venezuelan tequeño, "cheese stuffed potato tequeños" to this recipe, crushed potato is added to the dough, which makes to this snack, super spectacular !!!
Quiero compartir con ustedes una receta que disfruto mucho, es súper deliciosa y crujiente, es una variante de la receta del tequeño tradicional venezolano, “ tequeños de papas rellenos de queso “a esta receta se le agrega a la masa papa triturada, lo cual hace a este snack, súper espectacular!!!
You will need the following ingredients:
Necesitarás los siguientes ingredientes :
• 1 cup of wheat flour.
• 1 large potato.
• Cheese.
• 2 butter spoons.
• Salt.
• Oil.
• 1 taza de harina de trigo.
• 1 patata grande.
• Queso.
• 2 cucharadas de mantequilla.
• Sal.
• Aceite.
First we parboil, peel and mash the potato, reserve.
Primero sancochamos, pelamos y trituramos la patata, reservamos.
Next, in a bowl we add the flour, butter, mashed potato and salt.
Seguidamente, en un bol agregamos la harina, mantequilla, patata triturada y sal.
We knead very well to form a compact and elastic dough.
Amasamos muy bien hasta formar una masa compacta y elástica.
We stretch with the roller and cut with a knife long strips approximately one centimeter wide.
Estiramos con el rodillo y cortamos con un cuchillo tiras largas de un centímetro de ancho aproximadamente.
We cut the cheese into sticks and with a strip of dough we wrap them until completely covered.
Cortamos el queso en bastones y con una tira de masa los envolvemos hasta cubrir completamente.
Finally, we fry in hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
Finalmente, freímos en aceite caliente hasta dorar por ambos lados.
