In treatment of Coronavirus as Bangladesh sees the light of hope in the news of research on various medicines in different countries of the world, this time a team of doctors from Bangladesh is showing the light of new hope to the world through the combined use of the two old medicines.
Professor Dr. Tareq Alam, a chest specialist at Bangladesh Medical College Hospital, the country's first private medical college, has found a new light of hope in the treatment of coronavirus after a month and a half of research with one of his associate doctors.
Dr. Alam said that with the single dose of the antiprotozoal medicine ivermectin, the antibiotic doxycycline reduced the symptoms of coronavirus patients by 50 percent in just three days and the coronavirus test result was negative in four days.
Dr Tareq Alam said, "We find this wonderful. If we had worked with medicine earlier, we would not have lost so many people in so many days. "
He said,"These two drugs have been used during the SARS epidemic before. I can assure you that the combined use of these two drugs will have far more effective results than the other two drugs used in the treatment of coronavirus, hydroxychloroquine and remedicvir. Research on this drug has already started in India. We conducted this study on 60 patients at Bangladesh Medical College Hospital. That is why we have got this success. Our research has already completed a successful study of these two drugs at Manash University in Australia."
So this a great news for us....Just keep them in your prayers....
