I made a few cookie plates and painted them with colorful and shiny glaze. The plates were more difficult to make than monsters. I like making monsters better.
I had to roll the clay to be very thin and then I raised the edges. The clay wasn't very soft when I finished rolling it, so the raised edges staid up nicely. I was lucky.
These are organic cookies. Yummy yum.
I also decorated the edges with left over clay. Here the plates are after their first oven baking experience.
Oops! My Loch Ness monster plate is there too. That one I colored first and separately because of the monster.
All the plates are different at the bottom. The circles were extremely difficult and a bit boring to make. I think I stick with my monsters from now on,...at least for some time.
Here, the plate was put in a bucket with colorful glaze. I chose light blue, ocean blue, purple and brown color.
The result is not bad I think. When my friends come for a visit I can serve them some cookies, or a cake on these plates.
That's it. Happy cookie times coming.
I think they turned our very nice! I really like the pink one :)
Perfect cookie plates. Well done!
Thank you very much!
Those plates look almost as good as the cookies! : )
