"El amor propio"
Si, suena como otro jodido cliché de esta época. Algo que, en estos días, suena tan repetitivo y a veces hasta agobiante. Pero no.
Creo que el amor propio me ha permitido aceptar lo que si soy y no enfocarme en lo que no he podido lograr, esto me ha ayudado a comprender que debo partir de quien soy ahora para ser quien quiero mañana, sin apuros ni desespero solo pasito a pasito.
Y el arte siempre ha estado presente en todos mis procesos, hasta en el amor. Por eso, quiero que contemplen este autorretrato que para mi es muy especial. Porque nuestros cuerpos son un perfecto mecanismo de mil cosas funcionando por dentro e increíblemente aun así, somos tan delicados por fuera, tanto que definitivamente somos ARTE.
"Self-love" yes, it sounds like another fucking cliché of this era. Something that, these days, sounds so repetitive and sometimes even overwhelming. But no.
I believe that self-love has allowed me to accept what I am and not focus on what I have not been able to achieve, this has helped me to understand that I must start from who I am now to be who I want tomorrow, without hurry or despair, just step by step.
And art has always been present in all my processes, even in love. Therefore, I want you to contemplate this self-portrait that for me is very special. Because our bodies are a perfect mechanism of a thousand things working inside and incredibly even so, we are so delicate on the outside, so much so that we are definitely ART.
