Hello People,
Welcome to another blog of beer review, today's craft is more of a tongue twister rather than a name.
Feldschlößchen
(Pronounced as Feld+Shloe+Shun) Black Beer.
ABV-5%. Retailed at Rs. 200($ 4) for a 500 ml can.
First of all: Black Beer or Schwarzbier is definitely not a STOUT. It is a Dark Lager. Not going much into a ton of insights regarding the distinction between a Black Beer and Stout; I'd simply reveal to you that a Black Beer is a Lager and a Stout is an Ale. Both have novel differentiators. We should discuss Feldschlößchen Black Beer now.
Color and Head:
It pours a profound, dull earthy coloured + Ruby shading. The tan head holds till the last taste. I'd state extremely decent head maintenance. Gracious, and the binding is a sight.
Aroma:
Bready with Roasted Grains are lovely spot on. You can smell chocolate as well. For those with a solid feeling of smell, you could get fragrances of molasses and toffee (however this is extremely weak).
Flavour:
You can taste solid dim cooked malt (the sharpness that you get is because of it), extremely gentle chocolate pleasantness and toasted bread. There's a touch of dull caramel and gradually you can likewise feel harsh cocoa and nuts ascending to the front on the third swallow. There's no noticeable bounce flavour on the palette, potentially quelled because of the simmered malts and pleasantness.
Mouthfeel:
Light bodied, pleasantly carbonated. Entirely smooth and dry on the completion. You can taste the harsh simmered malts at long last with each swallow.
Conclusion:
Considering we have practically insignificant alternatives of this lager style or even Stouts in India, I'd suggest you proceed to get your can, while you can!
Until next time...
