***Tierra de rico aroma a guayaba.
¡Hace casi tres años salí de mi amada Venezuela!
Y suelo pensar que así será separarse de alguien a quien una ama. Lo digo por el dolor que me causó.
Vivimos 13 meses en Bogotá la capital de Colombia, y luego por esas cosas de la vida a mi esposo le salió un trabajo para dar clases de electrocardiofia.
Y aquí comienza la historia que les traigo hoy.

El viaje
Viajando desde Tunja
El día de la primera clase viajamos toda la familia: mi esposo mi hijo y yo, y nos quedamos maravillados con la belleza de sus paisajes; a pesar de que veníamos cansados porque nos levantamos de madrugada, lo disfrutamos muchísimo.
Llegamos, y mientras mi esposo dictaba la clase, mi hijo yo caminamos por el pueblo; en la noche salimos a buscar hotel porque se nos hizo tarde para regresar a Bogotá.
Encontramos y dormimos allí y en la mañana nos regresamos a Bogotá. Ese día no conocimos mucho de el pueblo.

Parque Bolívar de Moniquira
La segunda visita, ya con más confianza, mi esposo se quedó dando la clase y mi hijo y yo fuimos a un club de piscinas llamado Confaboy. Nos bañamos en la piscina, pasamos una excelente tarde.
Terminada la clase, salimos a recorrer el pueblo.
Caminamos por la plaza Bolívar y por la plaza Santander. visitamos la iglesia Nuestra Señora del Rosario ubicada en el parque Bolivat. La iglesia fue creada el 24 de febrero de 1780.

En el tercer viaje decidimos que nos mudamos a este pueblo porque nos pareció hermoso, tranquilo, y porque me trae recuerdos de mi hermoso pueblo natal.

# Así pues que con un poco de miedo e incertidumbre nos mudamos a la ciudad dulce de Colombia.
Mi hijo tenía muchas preguntas e inquietudes, y me decía que era un chico de ciudad y que esto era muy pueblo según sus palabras.
Moniquira está ubicado en la península de Ricautre en el departamento de Boyacá, a 56 kilómetros de la ciudad de Tunja qué es la capital del departamento.
Su territorio está bañado por los ríos Moniquira Pomeca y Suárez, y su temperatura en tiempos de verano en el casco urbano es de 19 a 20 grados centígrados, varía con bastante frecuencia y al caer la tarde podemos tener una temperatura entre 13 y 16 grados
Economía.
Es un pueblo que su economía está basada en la agricultura así que puedes encontrar una gran variedad de frutas y hortalizas muy fresca también se cultiva muy buen café
Y es la tierra del bocadillo de guayaba!
Dulceria Típica
En las mañanas, cuando caminas por el pueblo, puedes disfrutar de un delicioso olor a guayaba y a otros dulces de muchos tipos; la costumbre del bocadillo de guayaba viene desde 1600 en la época del Virreinato y la denominación de origen de los antiguos habitantes de la provincia de Vélez, que anteriormente formaba parte del municipio de Moniquira, considerado por los lugareños la tierra del bocadillo.
Según los habitantes de esta zona para que el bocadillo sea perfecto, debe ser elaborado con guayabas muy maduras, qué le queda un sabor agridulce, y envuelto en hojas de bijao para que esta hoja le aporte sabor aroma y lo mantenga siempre fresco.

No es sólo dulce
Esta hermosa tierra no es sólo dulce.
También tiene otros atractivos y su gente es muy amable y respetuosa; hay una frase que es símbolo en estas tierras: su Merce, así le llaman con respeto al compadre, al turista, al arriero, y a todo aquel que visite esta maravillosa tierra.

Tiene sitios turísticos, hermosas cascadas e hilos de agua que bajan majestuosamente de las montañas, invitandote a soñar; casi puede sentirse el frescor en tu cara. Así pues que aquí vivimos, en esta hermosa y dulce ciudad que nos recibió con los brazos abiertos, y aquel chico que decía que era un chico de ciudad, aquí su amigos, sigue tocando su violín y representó la ciudad de Moniquira en kick boxing logrando tres medallas, dos de oro y una de plata.

No quiero terminar este post sin contarles una graciosa anécdota:
Cuando decidí hacerlo, salí a tomar las fotos que les muestro, y nos vieron como sospechosos. ¡Nos mandaron la policía!
Esta no hizo gala de la amabilidad y gentilicio característicos de sus habitantes, los funcionarios fueron maleducados con nosotros y el trato no fue nada cordial.
Después de explicarles, a pesar de su impertinencia y su maltrato, wue vivíamos acá, que no nos veían porque casi no salimos a caminar el pueblo, que éramos profesionales que trabajábamos en un proyecto de telemedicina, que escribíamos para #HIVE, y que esas eran las fotos de esa publicación, NOS DEJARON IR Y SUPERADO ESTE INCONVENIENTE DECIDIMOS OLVIDAR lo Malo y QUEDARNOS CON LO BUENO.

Land of rich guava aroma.
Almost three years ago I left my beloved Venezuela, and I usually think that this will be parting from someone with one hand I tell you because of the pain it caused me.
We lived 13 months in Bogotá, the capital of Colombia, and then, because of those things in life, my husband got a job to teach electrocardiography classes.
And here begins the story that I bring you today!

We arrived and while my husband taught the class, my son and I walked through the town, at night we went out to look for a hotel because it was late for us to return to Bogotá.
We found a hotel to slept here, and in the morning we returned to Bogotá.
That day we met a lot of the village.
The second visit with more confidence, my husband stayed giving the class, and my son and I went to a swimming pool club named Confaboy. And we bathed in the pool and had an excellent afternoon.
The pool and the clases ends un the afternoon, and we went out to tour the town.
We walked through the Plaza Bolívar and Plaza Santander, visited the Our Lady of the Rosary Church, located in Bolivar Park.
The church was created on February 24, 1780.
On the third trip, we decided that we moved to this town because it seemed beautiful to us, and because it brings back memories of my beautiful hometown.
So with a little fear and uncertainty, we moved to the sweet city of Colombia. My son had many questions and concerns, and told me that he was a city boy and that this was very town according to his words.
Moniquira is located on the Ricautre peninsula in the department of Boyacá, 56 kilometers from the city of Tunja, which is the capital of the department.

It's not just only sweet.
This beautiful land is not only sweet; it also has other attractions and its people are very kind and respectful.
There is a phrase that is symbolic in these lands, their Mercy, so they call the compadre, the tourist, the muleteer and everyone who visits this wonderful land.
It has tourist sites, beautiful waterfalls and streams that descend majestically from the mountains that invite you to dream, you can almost feel the freshness on your face, so here we live in this beautiful and sweet city that welcomed us with open arms and that boy who He said he was a boy from the city, here his friends continue to play his violin and he represented the city of Moniquira in kick boxing, and he brought three medals, two gold and one silver.
I do not want to finish this post without telling you a funny anecdote:
when I decided to do it, I went out to take the photos that I show them, Simeone saw us as suspects and sent us the police; they did not show the kindness and kindness characteristic of its inhabitants, the officials were rude to us and the treatment was not cordial.
After explaining to them despite their impertinence and their mistreatment that we lived here, they saw us because we hardly went out to walk the town, and that we were professionals who worked on a telemedicine project, and that we wrote for HIVE and that that was the photo for that they were the pictures, THEY LET US GO AND OVERCOME THIS DISADVANTAGE WE DECIDED TO FORGET THE BAD AND KEEP WITH THE GOOD.

Siempre los cambios suelen ser difíciles, pero que sabroso se siente encontrar un lugar que nos acobija y donde nos podemos sentir cómodos. Moniquira esta ganando mucho, pues gana gente que le tiene cariño y se nota.
