In every year, the month of October is celebrated one of the most iconic and expected holidays for young people, Halloween, I think it is superfluous to say what is Halloween? Because I doubt very much that you haven't heard it, for me, Halloween is the night of fun, where you are free to dress up and live a terrifying moment.
What excites me the most about this event? Particularly, I love to watch horror movies at Halloween times, as the TV channels gifts us with a series of good movies to watch at night, mostly I tell my sister to accompany me to watch the movies because I am highly fearful, but curiosity always kills the cat, so I ajuro need company to watch scary movies.
Another important point? Obviously, when I go to Disney the best "horror" movies come out and the classics may come out. I love watching the most popular Halloween movies at Disney because it takes me back in time when I was 10 years old.
En cada año, el mes de Octubre se celebra una de las fiestas más icónicas y esperadas para los jóvenes, Halloween, creo que está de más decir ¿Qué es Halloween? Porque dudo mucho que no lo has escuchado, para mí, Halloween es la noche de la diversión, donde eres libre de disfrazarte y vivir un momento terrorífico. ¿Qué es lo que más me emociona de este evento? Particularmente, amo ver películas de terror en épocas de Halloween, ya que los canales de televisión nos regala una serie de buenas películas para ver en la noche, mayormente le digo a mi hermana que me acompañe a ver las películas porque soy altamente miedosa, pero la curiosidad siempre mata al gato, así que ajuro necesito compañía para ver películas de miedo. ¿Otro punto importante? Obvio, cuando voy a Disney salen las mejores películas de "terror" y pueden salir los clásicos. Amo ver las películas más populares de Halloween en Disney porque me hace retroceder en el tiempo cuando tenía 10 años.
The October season is based on this celebration, even though it is not very well seen by the religious community, it can be said that many people like to celebrate Halloween because of the feeling of mystery, fun, adventure and horror stories. Especially me, a girl who loves to eat, dress up or make up scary characters, my sister is a lover of artistic makeup and once along with one of my best friends, we got to celebrate the night of the witches to have an atmosphere of "terror" that night we made up, ate Halloween-themed cakes and we started watching thrillers (Since my dear mother would not give me permission to see scary movies at age 12).
One very important part I want to highlight about this month, is the big change of personalities we have because Halloween is October 31 and the next day is November 1, a neighboring month of Christmas Coincidence? Uhm, I think it's a way to purify the night of fear to a time of kindness and joy, it makes me laugh because I love to have that moment of darkness because I can read horror stories and get into an environment that I'm not usually very crowded.
La temporada de Octubre se basa en ésta celebración, a pesar de que no es muy bien vista por parte de la comunidad religiosa, se puede decir que mucha gente le gusta celebrar Halloween por la sensación de misterio, diversión, aventuras y cuentos de terror. Especialmente a mí, una chica que le encanta comer, disfrazarse o maquillarme personajes de miedo, mi hermana es una amante de los maquillajes artísticos y una vez junto con una de mis mejores amigas, nos pusimos a celebrar la noche de las brujas para tener un ambiente de "terror" esa noche nos maquillados, comimos ponqués hechos de la temática de Halloween y nos pusimos a ver películas de suspenso (Ya que mi querida madre no me daba el permiso de ver películas de miedo a los 12 años) Una parte muy importante que quiero resaltar de este mes, es el gran cambio de personalidades que tenemos porque la noche de las brujas es el 31 de Octubre y al día siguiente es 1 de Noviembre, un mes vecino de la Navidad ¿Casualidad? Uhm, creo que es una forma de purificar la noche del miedo a un tiempo de bondad y alegría, me da algo de risa porque me encanta tener ese momento de oscuridad ya que puedo leer historias de terror y meterme en un ambiente que no suelo estar muy concurrida.
La noche del terror siempre estará en Octubre, un evento que lleva desde hace muchos años atrás y siguen celebrando con buenos disfraces, buenas películas, buenos maquillajes y pare de contar. Creo eternamente que Halloween es el día que podemos estar más conectados con la espiritualidad, con el más allá ya que desde sus orígenes es reconocida como la Noche de los Santos. Sin embargo, las tradiciones han sido cambiadas y algunas formas se han mezclado con otras, pero cuando el sol se oculta es verídico de que la gente saldrá a decir la típica frase "Dulce o truco" claro, eso solo sucede en Estados Unidos, pero en los países de Latinoamérica tienen la costumbre de reunirse y ver maratones de películas de terror ¿Buen plan no?
