This will be my first post on the platform about this game, I am here to comment more about what I have seen and learned in the game and what I have researched because I do not intend to mislead people about this post, I still have to learn about the types of cards, but I feel that I have understood well what I come to present to you.
In my first publication about this game I will talk and comment what I learned from Splinterlands about markets and shards, I think they are very necessary elements to learn. I will try to divide this article into sections to distinguish what is a market and what is a shard.
The marketplace
I think it is one of the most important parts of the game because it is where we see the flow and movement of cards, whether buying, selling or renting land, and I must say that the latter topic doesn't bother me much. I think having access to more games and more experience will help me deliver better demos. As I mentioned here, we can get our cards, upgrade them by getting more cards, sell or rent, each one pertaining to the version of the card, the latest Chaos Legion and the chip, especially in the Element mentioned on the card, which presents each card on the cryptocurrency exchange with a different dollar value, adding value to the game.
These are the shards that are generated in the game, currently there are 6, each one generates or focuses on a different class, they can be "stronger" and you can get more shards depending on the card your opponent chooses. The labels appear: water, earth and fire, as representatives of the natural elements we also find the most special elements: life, death and the dragon. I could play a few games to see how it works and see what each fragment can and cannot do on the enemy map. My first win was in my third game, which was a magic attack summon that I liked, but I admit it wasn't a combo. It works in all situations because it can be played with different types of hands. Let's explain what a shard is:
Wand: this type is both offensive and defensive, and works very well in development battles, and I love its font and layout, imagery, although some others are overpowered.
Earth: this shard type is very durable and powerful on the battlefield, it works well with magic and I think the design is great.
Four: The power of this shard is very strong. The goal is to destroy your opponent's cards with one or two hits. It's a little slow, but it's pretty balanced. I think its design especially stands out.
Life: It is a special shard that contains a large number of cards with special defensive effects. Its main objective is to increase health, speed and defense while reducing the opponent's score.
Death: This shard is the opposite of the Life Shard, it aims to drastically reduce the opponent's health, speed and defense, and can be combined with other types of cards to make your attacks more effective.
Dragon: This is one of the most difficult shards because it can be combined with another one. You can decide the future of your game in a split second, its design is very good.
Rent
Renting is quite an attractive and interesting topic, and it can be profitable for players who have very little money in the game. I worry about "buying" spellbooks thinking that leasing will limit the player, I will explain that leasing is a way to rent a card for a certain amount of days for a certain monetary value. Apparently, if we lease a card, we won't get it forever, so we have to get out of range and win the game. This is great because it can help us improve the level of the game.
Skills
In addition to shards, attack types and everything else, we've also found abilities that are special in their own right on almost every map, with a general ability to heal, upgrade or degrade enemies.
Blast: inflicts additional damage to monsters near the target monster. Low Morale: Reduces the melee attacks of enemy monsters.
Dodge: Increases the chance to dodge melee attacks. Double Strike: a monster attacks twice per round.
Flight: avoids melee or ranged attacks from monsters that cannot fly. Thanks
Now that I have finished my first article about the game, I must say that I enjoy playing it. I would like to thank the people of this community for allowing me to write and gain experience, every time I try to upload another post, I try to do my best.
