What line of action(s) do you take after learning something new?
Do you just do away with what you learnt or you put sit and while away time? Do you pride yourself on your newfound knowledge without actually profiting from practical insights? Or you keep running away from starting till you understand fully what you are doing?
If you are one who does not put your knowledge to the test after learning...
You need to stop that right now!
You need to stop hindering your growth and development. For a fact, you don't need to have it all perfect or figured out before starting on a new learning point.
Why is that so?
Putting to practice what you learn makes you know what's right or wrong, true or false, correct, or incorrect.
What to do
When you put to the test what you learn alone, it brings you closer to a high level of discovery. It leads you to mastery and wisdom in that area you worked on. You only get wise about something when you know how things work in that area. This insight can only be obtained through the meaningful application of our knowledge.
On a final note...
Knowledge not put to practice is a waste! — It is unwise. Wisdom is higher than knowledge. You should move away from mere armchair learning positions and take meaningful ACTIONS.
