Meatballs

My story is not so great. I saw a recipe by @cres and it motivated me to try this dish.

You can find the recipe on the above post.

For some reason, my potatoes did not cook. Next time I will par boil them. Other mistake was that I had a very sour orange and thought it would still work. Big mistake.

Anyway the meatballs were really delicious and although I tried to continue cooking those potatoes - they just didn't come right. I tried microwaving them, and finally fried them in olive oil in a pan.

Could be it was just the type of potato. If anyone can enlighten me please do so in the comments.

When my bruised ego has healed, I might just try again. Anyway, this was my version - gosh even the photographs don't look as good as the ones @cres took.

Hopefully, my next food blog will be about a great success.

Let me know how it works out for you !!!

Until next time.

Well done, Christine! You managed to create a great post out of your (potato's 🌝 ) fault! The meatballs look great. What about the potatoes - I had the same problem this Sunday when I cooked fish with vegetables in my oven. I had to separate the pieces and stew the potatoes in a pan adding some water. I think the sort of potatoes was not proper - red and huge in size, which I would never buy (my son was sent to the shop, so that was a man's buy 😉😁)

Glad I'm not the only one.
