Hola Hive!! Espero que todos se encuentren muy bien y les haya ido fenomenal en estos primeros días del año.
Esta vez me entusiasma contarles como hice un tapete. Un tapete es una pieza de tela que puede ser usada como adorno o protección en muebles. Hice un tapete para utilizarlo como detalle en una mesa, pudiendo colocar encima de este algún florero, incluso, este tapete puede ser usado para nuestro escritorio.
Sé dos maneras de hacerlos, en esta primera publicación les mostraré la más sencilla y con menos materiales. Solo necesitaremos tela, tijeras, un poco de hilo y una aguja.
En este caso, yo usé tela roja y verde. En ellas, calqueé la forma de un círculo y recorté. Logré sacar varios. Aquí les dejo el ejemplo con la tela verde.

This time I'm excited to tell you how I made a rug. A rug is a piece of fabric that can be used as an ornament or protection on furniture. I made a rug to be used as a detail on a table, and I can even put a vase on top of it. This rug can even be used for our desk.
I know two ways to make them, in this first publication I will show you the simplest and with less materials. We will only need fabric, scissors, some thread and a needle.
In this case, I used red and green fabric. In them, I traced the shape of a circle and cut it out. I managed to take out several. Here is the example with the green cloth.
Una vez que tengamos los círculos, comenzaremos a coser. Empezaremos realizando una costura por los bordes de la tela, y a medida que avanzamos, vamos halando el hilo. La tela se irá arrugando y quedará una especie de bolsita. Luego de completar el círculo, sellaremos con una puntada y nos quedará así:
Once we have the circles, we will start sewing. We will start by sewing the edges of the fabric, and as we go along, we will pull the thread. The fabric will wrinkle and there will be a kind of bag. After completing the circle, we will seal it with a stitch and it will look like this:
Luego de hacer este paso anterior con cada uno de nuestros círculos, los colocaremos en una superficie plana y decidiremos cuál será la forma final de nuestro tapete.
After doing this previous step with each of our circles, we will place them on a flat surface and decide what the final shape of our mat will be.
Procedemos a pegar uno a uno, siguiendo la forma que deseemos.
We proceed to paste one by one, following the form that we want.
Así quedó mi tapete. Pueden usarlo así para sus muebles o mesitas, o incluso usarlas a la inversa.
That's how my rug looks. You can use it like this for your furniture or small tables, or even use it in reverse.
Si los hace con telas estampadas también les encantará.
If you make them with printed fabrics they will love them too.
Se ve muy bien y disfruté la combinación de los colores. Tal vez este tipo de manualidades se pueda realizar con material reusable, colocando un toque ecológico.
