Good morning Hivers. Every day I am preparing different dishes for lunch, so little by little I hope to show you some of my recipes. Many people do not include salads in their diets, without knowing that they are essential when it comes to having a balanced diet.
Eating salads does not have to be boring, the way to prepare them is incredibly wide and even with few ingredients.
Thinking about it, today I will teach you how to make a simple beet salad, for those who are new to eating salads and are looking for new options to add vegetables to their meals.
Ingredients:
- 2 beets.
- 1 medium onion.
- Cilantro or parsley.
- Olive oil.
- Pepper.
- Salt.
- Lemon.
Preparation:
Boil the beets until they are soft. Once they have cooled, peel them and cut them into small squares, slices or julienne strips, according to preference.
Then, add the rest of the ingredients: onion and chopped cilantro. To season, use a little olive oil, pepper, salt and a little lemon. Stir and the cold salad is ready.
As you can see, it is a fairly simple recipe and its flavor can vary with the ingredients mentioned. It can be eaten alone or as a side dish, with rice, bread, potatoes and even casabe.

Muy buenos días Hivers. Cada día estoy elaborando diferentes platillos a la hora de realizar los almuerzos, así que, poco a poco espero ir mostrándoles algunas de mis recetas. Muchas personas no implementan las ensaladas en sus dietas, sin saber que ellas son indispensables a la hora de tener una alimentación balanceada.
Comer ensaladas, no tiene que ser aburrido, la forma de prepararlas es increíblemente amplia e incluso, con pocos ingredientes.
Pensando en ello, hoy les enseñaré como hacer una ensalada de remolacha sencilla, para aquellos que son nuevos comiendo ensaladas y buscan nuevas opciones para implementar vegetales a sus comidas.
Ingredientes:
- 2 remolachas.
- 1 cebolla mediana.
- Cilantro o perejil.
- Aceite de oliva.
- Pimienta.
- Sal.
- Limón.
Preparación:
Se sancochan las remolachas hasta que estén blandas. Una vez que se hallan enfriado, se pelan y se pican en cuadros pequeños, en rebanadas o en juliana, esto es a preferencia.
Luego, se le agrega el resto de los ingredientes: La cebolla y el cilantro picado. Para sazonar, se utiliza un poco de del aceite de oliva, la pimienta, la sal y un poco de limón. Se revuelve y la ensalada fría, está lista.
Como pudieron apreciar, es una receta bastante sencilla y con un sabor que puede variar con los ingredientes mencionados. Se puede comer sola o como acompañamiento, junto a arroz, pan, papa y hasta casabe.
