Hello guys. I am going to continue from where I left last time. So till now in my lock down art series of electric poles, I have done blue dominant works and a yellow dominant work. So naturally I was going to do a red dominant work next and I had plans to combine all three primaries for my final work. But then I did run out of the reference pics.
I try to paint from life as much as possible, but sometimes I do work from reference pics too. And I always use reference pics that are taken by me. It gives me a better hold of the subject. For these works also I was using my own reference pics. But in this lock down period we can't move around much and hence I had managed a very limited set of reference pics. So I finally did run out of reference pics that were good enough to be painted. And hence decided to do just one more final one and skip the red dominant work.
Entangled - IV Watercolor on paper
Generally it is difficult to find landscapes or such paintings having 3 point perceptive. But 3 point perspective is always very interesting as a design element and I was really excited to have that in this work. Color wise I used all primaries in their grayed out form and also combined all primaries to create the grays for the painting. I think this is a good ending to the mini series. I am quite satisfied. What do you think?
But anyways, I have been romanticizing electric poles for sometime now. I guess its also time to move on. I would leave you with the previous works of the series all of which are watercolor on paper.
