RE: Earth's Calling

Not sure where you are located (country). I've also felt a compulsion to working the land. I grew up exposed to the farm life, and always felt I would return. Many of the alchemists from antiquity would work the dirt as a way of working the true stone (oneself).

I've been looking into this here these last many weeks. It seems if one has the land and time, a good 2-3 year plan would be trees. Start them small in buckets and you can make good money their 2nd or 3rd year. Landscapers, nurseries and folks wanting to beautify their land (and create shade) will buy them from you.

If in the US, is your soil certified (or can be) as organic? If so, target heirloom seeds. There are many ways to make money from this organic crop, whatever you decide. Even the seeds are valuable as many realize what the Monsantos of the world are doing to us.

There will be food shortages coming, and the value of food will be much more than monetary, although it will be that as well. You can't eat gold or a Bitcoin.

You might also try mixing in a thing called micro greens. They can even be done indoors and the grow cycle for them is literally weeks.

I am from Romania and the land that I am talking about doesn't need to be certified. We don't function after such rules and tbh we haven't got to that situation of having shitty land and monsanto is still away from our crops. What I am referring to is quite a big garden and some one hectare of land that was cultivated previously with wheat and corn. I have totally no experience with farming but I would like starting from somewhere. You have a good idea with planting trees.
