And there I was, thinking what to do. My husband had just arrived from the United States and a week before I had given birth to my second child, my husband no longer believed in the economy of Venezuela, (it is very difficult to believe in it when Venezuela collapses) however I convinced him that we could still invest here, because despite everything people continued to invest in businesses.
I asked him to open a hairdressing spa, I explained the reason for that business and not a clothing store or something like that. The Venezuelan may be going through whatever is in her life but NEVER stops getting ready, she always saves some money to fix her hands, feet and hair. The Venezuelan does not expect to have roots or gray in her hair to paint it, we always walk to the nines, and definitely the woman will always be aware of what is innovative in the hairdressing world to try it.
So I raised the whole project to him, I told him I wanted something different, I didn't want the common furniture that all hairdressers have, I wanted a country style, made of wood, and that's how it was, I got a carpenter who understood the whole idea. I translate, I wanted plants to decorate the entire SPA, in short, I wanted a different hairdresser.
Hola queridos amigos de HIVE espero se encuentren bien, de verdad que adoro escribir para ustedes, es una manera de conectarnos y que ustedes me conozcan un poco más.
Un dia un amigo me dijo ¡PUKI, ¡HAY QUIENES LLORAN Y QUIENES VENDEN PAÑUELOS, EN CUAL DE LOS DOS GRUPOS PREFIERES ESTAR!, les explico que quiso decir, está el grupo de personas que durante el caos, se lamentan, y se enfocan en el miedo y se estancan en lo que esta pasando en ese momento, se olvidan de salir a delante y prefieren sentarse a llorar, y esta el grupo de personas que del caos sacan beneficio, personas visionarias, emprendedoras, que de ese caos buscan el éxito.
Y ahí estaba yo, pensando que hacer. Mi esposo acababa de llegar de estados unidos y yo una semana antes había dado a luz a mi segundo hijo, mi esposo no creía ya en la economía de Venezuela, (es muy difícil creer en ella cuando Venezuela se vienen abajo) sin embargo lo convencí de que todavía podíamos invertir aquí, porque a pesar de todo las personas seguían invirtiendo en negocios.
Le plantee abrir un spa peluquería, les explico el porque de ese negocio y no una tienda de ropa o algo asi. La venezolana podrá estar pasando lo que sea en su vida pero JAMAS deja de arreglarse, siempre guarda algo de dinero para arreglarse las manos, pies y cabello. La venezolana no espera tener raíz o canas en el cabello para pintárselo, siempre andamos de punta en blanco, y definitivamente la mujer siempre va a estar pendiente de lo innovador en el mundo de peluquería para probarlo.
Así que le planteé la todo el proyecto, le dije que quería algo distinto, no quería los muebles comunes que tienen todas las peluquerías, quería un estilo campestre, de madera, y así fue, conseguí un señor carpintero que me entendió toda la idea y a plasmo, quería plantas que decoraran todo el SPA en fin quería una peluquería diferente.

Months ago before starting this dream, I saw on Instagram a place that they were renting, I liked it, I literally fell in love with that place, but I had to wait to define what we were going to do and then go see it, I asked the cost of the fee and they answered me The following week they had rented it, however I told my mother, THAT LOCAL WILL BE FOR ME! Definitely on occasions in my life I have verified that marking the intention in something gives results, everything goes with the DESIRE, wanting so much something, that becomes yours.
Entre mi esposo y mis padres me ayudaron en todo, busque un nombre que me representara y que englobara muchas cosas, que no solo sería spa y peluquería sino un lugar donde las personas pudieran recibir taller y cursos relacionados con todo lo que es el área de belleza, mi mama me ayudo a buscar el nombre, y le puse BELLEZA, ARTE Y ESTILO ELEIXA SUAREZ.
Meses atrás antes de empezar este sueño, vi en Instagram un local que estaban alquilando, me gusto, literal me enamore de ese local, pero tenia que esperar definir que íbamos a hacer para luego ir a verlo, pregunte el costo del canon y me respondieron, a la semana siguiente lo habían alquilado, sin embargo le dije a mi mama, ¡ESE LOCAL SERA PARA MI!, definitivamente en ocasiones de mi vida he comprobado que marcar la intensión en algo da resultados, todo va con el DESEO, desear tanto algo, que se vuelve tuyo.
Two months later I see on Instagram again the same place that they were renting it again, do not hesitate to write and ask again, I was about to give birth I was resting I could not leave my house, but I could not let this pass opportunity, make an appointment after giving birth, to see the place and so we did, the following week I was seeing the place.
I saw it, I liked it, I was fascinated, I said it was perfect for me, we told the man that we would soon give him an answer because he had to wait for Pedro to arrive in Venezuela so that he could see it and make it concrete. I was super excited, I wanted to start NOW.
On the other hand, while I was pregnant, I resumed my studies to graduate as a massage therapist, I finished them and finally I was ready to start working.
When Pedro arrived, we went to see the premises, we arranged for rent and began the arrangements of the premises. The following week they brought us the ready-made furniture, we began to distribute and organize it. We all collaborate because it is a family business, my father and Pedro painted and arranged the premises, then Pedro and I thoroughly cleaned the premises.

Lo vi, me gusto, me fascino, dije que era perfecto para mí, le dijimos al señor que pronto le dábamos respuesta porque debía esperar que Pedro llegara a Venezuela para que lo viera y concretáramos. Yo estaba súper emocionada, quería empezar YA.
Por otro lado, mientras estaba embarazada, retome mis estudios para graduarme de masoterapeuta, los culmine y finalmente ya estaba preparada para empezar a trabajar.
Cuando Pedro llego, fuimos a ver el local, concretamos en alquiler y empezamos los arreglos del local. La semana siguiente nos llevaron los muebles ya listos, empezamos a distribuirlos y los organizamos. Todos colaboramos porque es un emprendimiento familiar, mi papa y Pedro pintaron y acomodaron el local, luego Pedro y yo limpiamos a fondo el local.

The first time I was left alone, I was scared, but nevertheless I continued, TODAY I am not afraid of being alone, I know I can handle it until I form a good team again.
Se preguntarán ¿Porque tome la decisión de estudiar cada área?, les explico, yo también he sido alguna vez cliente de una peluquería, generalmente, las mujeres se programan para ir a la peluquería, organizan su día para tener tiempo para asistir a la peluquería, y es muy desagradable que cuando llegues a la peluquería te digan ¡LA PELUQUERA O LA MANICURISTA NO VINO! Cuando pasa eso a uno se le descontrola todo y pasa un mal rato, y yo no quería que eso le pasara a mis clientas. En el momento que faltara alguna del equipo de trabajo la suplantaría yo, para no perder ningún cliente, y hasta ahora asi ha sido.
No ha sido fácil conforman un buen equipo, ya que nuestra peluquería es nueva, si nos llegan clientes pero poco a poco, las personas que empiezan a trabajar con nosotros creen que va a estar full la peluquería pero se olvida que aún seguimos en pandemia y no ha sido fácil, varias manicuristas, estilistas, barberas se han ido, por eso mismo, la ansiedad de trabajar y no tener clientes las desespera y las lleva a tomar la decisión de irse. La primera vez que me quede sola, me asuste, pero sin embargo seguí, HOY no me da miedo quedarme sola, sé que puedo manejarlo hasta que vuelva a conformar un buen equipo.

If we were at another time where there was no pandemic, the surest thing is that it would be better for us, but I know that little by little people will get to know us, since we opened we are known for being a UNIQUE hairdresser, where people relax and sit in home, a good coffee, a good massage and cordiality keep our clients coming back.
I also started doing home massage packages, I have several people who prefer that I go to their house and attend them, they feel more comfortable
Hoy ya tenemos 1 año con el spa peluquería, sobreviviendo en pandemia, la gente poco a poco nos va conociendo, nosotros nos movemos muchos, anunciamos muchas promociones y a los clientes eso les gusta, ya que la economía aquí en Venezuela no está fácil, todos vivimos del día a día, lo que la gente gana es para comer y medicinas, ir a la peluquería ahorita es un lujo, por eso siempre intentamos que nuestras clientas vengan con las promociones.
Si estuviésemos en otro momento donde no hubiese pandemia, lo mas seguro es que nos iría mejor, pero se que poco a poco la gente nos conocerá, desde que abrimos nos caracterizamos por ser una peluquería UNICA, donde las personas se relajen y se sientan en casa, un buen café, un buen masaje y cordialidad hacen que nuestras clientas regresen.
También empecé a hacer paquetes de masajes a domicilio, tengo varias personas que prefieren que yo vaya a sus casa y los atienda, se sienten más cómodos

As I told you at the beginning we decided to SELL SCARVES, take advantage of the opportunity and grow, we have literally grown in every way, nobody said it would be easy, but we have shown that it is not impossible, perhaps it has not given us the monetary gain that we would like, but It has given us the gain to grow, to undertake and to get ahead despite the circumstances.
Todo como pasa es perfecto, y si a nosotros nos toco abrir una peluquería en pandemia, es porque Dios nos esta poniendo a prueba para ver que tanta perseverancia tenemos, que tanto estamos dispuestos a trabajar para que nuestro negocio se mantenga, que tanto estamos dispuesto a hacer para salir adelante, y creo que hasta ahora hemos demostrado que si se puede.
Como les dije al principio nosotros decidimos VENDER PAÑUELOS, aprovechar la oportunidad y crecer, literalmente hemos crecido en todos los sentidos, nadie dijo que sería fácil, pero hemos demostrado que imposible no es, quizás no nos ha dado la ganancia monetaria que quisiéramos, pero nos ha dado la ganancia de crecer, de emprender y Salir adelante a pesar de las circunstancias.

Está pandemia que creo que llegara a los 2 años, ha sacado lo peor pero creo que mas ha sacado lo mejor de nosotros, que es el talento, estamos haciendo cosas que jamás imaginamos que haríamos, las personas han buscado salir adelante con nuevos emprendimientos, aquí en Venezuela no se veían los DELIVERY ahora todo el mundo los hace, y a la gente les va genial., las personas se inventaron negocios de lo que fuese, se dieron a conocer.
¿Pero saben que es lo mas importante que nos ha dejado la pandemia?, UNIDO FAMILIAR, comer todos en la mesa, estar en casa y mirarnos la cara, jugar mas con nuestros hijos, y como dije anteriormente sacar el talento que cada uno de nosotros tenemos.
