Today I woke up with foggy morning. We have the ongoing winter season in India, however we never had the foggy day so far. We ended last year with normal temperature. However, the weather took some wild turn, since the begining of this new year. While the temperature was too low so far with chilly wind, today we had the surprise with first fog of the season it was completelly hazy early in the morning.

The fog encounter had a mix reaction, I do enjoy fog, but at the same it distrupt the day to day activities. I was suppose to travel today, and faced many difficulty driving through the way. The roads were completelly engulfed in fogs, and it was not easy to drive in blanket. I was trying to find my way in early 5o'clock. Most fog forms during the early morning hours when temperatures are cooler and the air is more saturated with moisture. The fog appears as a white, misty layer close to the ground, sometimes with patches of denser fog.
A first foggy day typically appears as a thick, white, hazy blanket covering the landscape, obscuring distant views and making everything seem muted, with a low visibility where objects close by may appear slightly blurred and the atmosphere feels damp and cool, often occurring in the early morning hours with the sun barely visible through the fog. Foggy days often feel calm and still with minimal wind. The air feels moist and saturated with water vapor.
It was fun exploring the mysterious atmosphere, pretending to be explorers in a "foggy world,". However, there is alwsys be some problem during the foggy day. The low visibility, often make travelling uneasy. Just because there is fog around, our train was too late to appear on the railway platform. Fog forms when air near the ground becomes saturated with water vapor, which can happen through a few processes. In our country, it generally forms, When air cools, it can't hold as much water vapor, so the excess water vapor condenses into fog droplets. This can happen through radiation, advection, or upslope cooling. Finally , I have to spend time clicking the morning hawkers selling some fresh fruits.
Fog is often difficult to forecast because multiple processes can act at the same time, and their relative importance varies. Whatever it was, I enjoyed some lovely chilled morning amongs the seasons first fog.
