Braided wholemeal bread / Pan integral trenzado
Hello dear community, Today I am going to share the recipe for whole wheat bread that I made last Friday, it really was delicious, I hope you enjoy it!
Hola querida comunidad, Hoy voy a compartir la receta de pan integral que hice el viernes pasado, fue realmente delicioso, ¡espero que lo disfruten!
Ingredients | Ingredientes |

1 kg of wholemeal flour | 1 kg de Harina integral |
2 tablespoons dry yeast | 2 Cucharadas de levadura seca |
1/2 cup of sugar | 1/2 taza de azúcar |
1 tablespoon of salt | 1 Cucharada de sal |
1/2 cup of oil | 1/2 taza de aceite |
2 1/2 cups of water | 2 1/2 tazas de agua |
Elaboration / Elaboración:
- In a container we put 1 cup of warm water and add the dry yeast, plus a tablespoon of sugar and wait a few minutes until it ferments.
En un recipiente ponemos 1 taza de agua tibia y agregamos la levadura seca, más una cucharada de azúcar y esperamos unos minutos hasta que fermente.
- Once the yeast is ready we incorporate all the ingredients (except the salt) and integrate them.
Una vez que la levadura esta lista incorporamos todos los ingredientes (excepto la sal) y los integramos.
- When you see that all the ingredients are well integrated, then you can add the salt.
Cuando veas que todos los ingredientes están bien integrados, entonces puedes agregar la sal.
- Knead for 10 to 15 minutes until we have a smooth dough.
Amasamos entre 10 y 15 minutos hasta que tengamos una masa suave.
- We let the dough grow between 30 and 40 minutes (or until we see it double its size)
Dejamos crecer la masa entre 30 y 40 minutos (o hasta ver que doblo su tamaño)
Once ready we knead again to remove the air. You give the shape you want to your breads and we let them rest for 20 to 30 minutes.
Una vez listos, amasamos nuevamente para eliminar el aire. Le das la forma que deseas a tus panes y los dejamos descansar durante 20 a 30 minutos.
- Varnish the bread with egg.
Barnizamos el pan con huevo.
- We put it to bake for 15 or 20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
Lo ponemos a hornear durante 15 o 20 minutos a 180 grados centigrados.
The result is wonderful!
