Home is not a place, it's a feeling! | Memories from my Hometown.

Maybe we have to leave in order to really miss a place, especially our hometown. There's nothing in this world that can make us feel the same as our hometown. No matter how it was, a megacity or a rural place, rich or poor; hometown is comforting; right?

I'm living away from the place where I born and raised for a very long. I didn't make it there even during the festive time because of this pandemic. Now it feels, there's something empty inside me. I need to walk on the street of my hometown, see the faces I love most, be around the place I was for half of my life...

The place is nothing much, just the regular countryside of Bangladesh. This is not a megacity, people still know each other, care for each other, and down to earth. And that's what makes this place more attractive to me.

The best thing is, there is still a lot of breathing space; not as the capital city. And the locals are not as busy as the capital. You will get to see people are gossiping in the street or in the tea stall, roam around the city, visit each other's home very often. It feels so hospitable and warming. I really miss this gesture here.

And stray dogs, you will find them everywhere on the streets. Not all but most of the people care for them, offer them food and shelter regularly.

The city is expanding every day, more and more are coming to this city to make their living. It is becoming crowded day by day. But still, it's not like megacities, that's a relief.

I miss the comfort of the place, the smile of the random people, the hospitability of the locals, the environment, the placed I had many memories; everything.

Hopefully next month, I will visit my hometown again. Till then these memories are everything that I have...
