¡Diferencia entre los sueños y los deseos! / Difference between dreams and wishes!
Tanto en la cultura inglesa y la cultura latina existe una asociación entre aquellos deseos imperiosos en nuestra vida con la palabra sueño. Es oportuno en este momento indicarle que tal asociación de estas dos palabras no la encontrará con ese sentido positivo en los diccionarios de las lenguas inglesas o española. Ésta es una asociación “espontanea”, ya que en ambas culturas, además de los significados comunes que tiene la palabra sueño; también se asocia con aquel deseo que viene del fondo de nuestra alma y no un simple querer. Cuando alguna persona expresa “yo sueño con tener… o con ser…” se está refiriendo a un deseo puesto allí por Dios y forma parte del plan de vida de esa alma encarnada en ese individuo.
Both in the English culture and the Latin culture, there is an association between those imperative desires in our life with the word dream. It is opportune at this time to point out that such an association of these two words will not be found with that positive meaning in the dictionaries of the English or Spanish languages. This is a "spontaneous" association, that occurs in both cultures. In addition to the common meanings that the word dream has; it is associated with that desire that comes from the bottom of our soul and not a simple want. When someone expresses "I dream of having... or being..." he is referring to a desire placed there in his or her heart by God and is part of the life plan of that soul incarnated in that individual.
Pero existe una diferencia entre los sueños y lo que llamamos deseos. Quién tiene un sueño realizará todas las acciones necesarias y aún más de lo requerido para que lo deseado suceda, se haga realidad. Por otro lado, en el caso de los deseos el individuo tiene la esperanza de que lo deseado ocurra. La persona que tiene un sueño estará dispuesta a hacer lo que los demás no estarían dispuestos a hacer. Eso marca la diferencia entre el simple desear y el soñar.
But there is a difference between our dreams and what we call wishes. Who has a dream will carry out all the necessary actions and even more than it is required to make his or her desires to come true. On the other hand, in the case of wishes, the individual hopes that somehow the desired thing will happen. The person who has a dream will be willing to do what others would not be willing to do. That makes the difference between simply wishing and dreaming.
Desde el punto de vista de los yoes falsos, se asocia el éxito de las personas con una buena educación, mejores talentos, quienes han tenido mejores oportunidades en la vida y no pueden entender como personas con poca educación, pocos talentos y aparentemente sin grandes oportunidades puede ser también exitosas. Lo que esos yoes falsos no comprenden es que todas estás personas tienen en común es quieren las cosas con más intensidad que el resto de los mortales, independientemente que lo hagan de manera consciente o inconsciente.
From the point of view of false selves, the success of people is associated with a good education, better talents, who have had better opportunities in life and cannot understand how people with little education, few talents and apparently without great opportunities can also be successful. What these false selves do not understand is that all these people have in common is that they want things more intensely than the rest of mortals, regardless of whether they do it consciously or unconsciously.
Desde un nivel superior, usted debe saber que ese de sueño es una semilla colocada por el Uno en su corazón. Nunca olvide que Dios no colocaría ese deseo imperioso en su corazón si no fuera para su bien y sin proporcionarle los medios para lograrlo; de lo contrario no estaríamos hablando de un Dios que es todo amor. Pero usted tiene que “esforzarse” para conseguirlo, ya que de no hacerlo se alejará cada vez más de su destino. Ahora posee un conocimiento que le debe brindar confianza y aumentar su fe. Al comprender que Dios está detrás de todos esos sueños, sólo se requiere de usted es que entre en acción, pero confiado en que Dios lo está empujando para hacerlo realidad.
From a higher level, you must know that this dream is a seed placed by the One in your heart. Never forget that God would not place that compelling desire in your heart if it were not for your good and without providing you with the means to achieve it; otherwise we would not be talking about a God who is all love. But you have to "make an effort" to achieve it, because if you don't, you will move further and further from your destination. You now have knowledge that should give you confidence and increase your faith. Realizing that God is behind all those dreams, all that is required of you is to take action, but trust that God is pushing you to make it come true.
