"When the pandemic began, little did I imagine the importance that this virus would have, and its devastating consequences.
At first we knew how this virus was coming to life just from the news.
As time passed, close cases began to be heard. I remember when one day we learned that a neighbor had been infected and the authorities passed by our houses disinfecting.

I must admit, that was very stressful."

"However, I managed to remain calm and in the midst of the circumstances, follow a normal daily routine".

  • It helped me a lot to remember the wise words of the bible.

Who by being anguished can lengthen the duration of life?

What made me think about the importance of staying calm in difficult times.

I would like to tell you about my experience, recently despite taking great care of us, my husband began to have symptoms very similar to covid, then my parents and other relatives who live nearby. They were days of great anguish, stress and many nerves that they were going to get complicated.

Thanks to God and the help of our treating doctor, they all recovered.
Something that was very painful, and personally I was affected by the attitude of the people when they knew that my family had symptoms of covid, some when they saw us commented among themselves "look at those who have covid" and they would move away or when we went out for supplies we They said that we were unconscious for leaving with the virus.

Of course I understand that many are afraid of being infected and want to protect their families.

From what I have experienced, I learned that we must be better people, a disease like this horrible virus cannot rob us of qualities such as empathy, natural affection, compassion. And if we must continue taking care of ourselves more than ever, but if we know of someone who is going through this virus and it is up to us to be able to help them without exposing ourselves either by making purchases and leaving them at their doorstep, we can also encourage them by message or a call This way they will feel our affection and surely with a positive attitude they will recover faster.
Some very dear friends were infected a few days ago, my husband and I worried about them, we decided to stop by their house to see how we could help them, while there we received the traumatic news that their mother lost the battle against the covid. It was very hard to see them cry with so much pain and not be able to hug them, but I know that the simple fact of being there for them was very valuable.

Truly, this illness and this confinement were not the easiest thing to do. I am very sorry for what you and your family went through, the important thing is that, as you say, we do not lose our values in these difficult times.
