Lately there is a group of people who believe that they own the Hive blockchain, unfairly accusing me (and who knows how many people more) of being a plagiarist, abuser and someone who uses artificial intelligence. Well, I will sum it up for you completely: All of this is false, regardless of the tool they claim to be using to detect the alleged AI.
I don't need to use any AI
I need to say that I don't even know of any tool that works for writing content like that, and I'm not interested in learning about any tool like that, because I don't need it to write my content here.
Also, why use Artificial Intelligence to write a post once every few days? Someone please explain to me, what would be the purpose of using AI if it were not to write every day without a break? When I write a post, it usually takes several days before they write the next one... So what's the point?
But there is a group of people in Hive who are dedicated to annoying and downvoting the accounts of people they don't like. So that later they say that in Hive there is no sectarianism, advantager and censorship. They believe they are a kind of justice league with the power and the duty to punnish about the user accounts that just get to this platform to try to get to know it and interact with it.
They say that they are not censors, but they hide under the names of accounts that no one knows who exactly they belong to, and they say that they do what they do for the benefit of Hive... I think they do it to feel important in some way, and To be frank, I think it's in a very negative way.
Yesterday I wrote a post that was accused of being written by AI
And what's more, despite the fact that I have only written 6 (7 now) posts since I arrived at Hive (just 14 days ago right now), I have been accused of plagiarism, abuse and use of AI. None of those accusations is true. And I don't care what those accounts or those Hive members say so, and I don't care if they claim to be using AI detection tools, because it's just not true.
Because while it is true that content detection tools that have been written with AI give a fairly reasonable level of certainty; I have investigated, and result they fail more than they succeed; so basically, you can take any paragraph of a text and put it into one of those tools and it won't matter if it's original or not, because they'll present it as plagiarism, regardless of whether that's the case or not.
Due I am constantly accused of having used artificial intelligence in said post, I have been forced to modify it, so that it does not harm me from the point of view of new users who may believe the false information that the accusers spread about my account. But, as I told you before, yesterday's post was also accused of using AI, and I'm sick of this. Said post is going to remain exactly as it is, because I am not willing to continue playing the little game of those who accuse me without reason.
I have no interest in violating the Hive ecosystem, nor do I intend to obtain rewards that do not correspond to me, despite that possibly there will be many users trying it. The reason is that it is not in my nature to do so, and furthermore, I have no reason for it, because due to the economic income that I receive from the performance of my profession, I have absolutely no need, nor any interest in obtaining illegitimate profits from my posts.
The only accusation I can recognize as true
The only accusation that I can recognize as true is that of having used images, in the post where I talked about my trip to Africa, without having explained clearly enough that these images were not my own authorship. But when a user of the platform made me see it (in a very bad way, by the way) I removed all the images of the post and apologized in it; because it was a mistake in the judgment of a newbie like me, who hasn't even written 10 posts on this platform.
The user in question accused me of plagiarizing and that is not true, it was just an oversight on my part. In fact, generally, whenever I use images I put the sources from which I got them. But here there are many people who, pretending to be superheroes or pretending being too rigorous, strict and correct, turn out to be really rude, impolite, inconsiderate and unconscious.
Instead of accusing, downvoting and threatening
Instead they should be supporting and mentoring people like me who we are new to the platform, but in a positive way. Because when one arrives at Hive, one, as a new user, wants to share experiences, experiences and content, and above all wants to learn about the platform and ecosystem and wants to interact positively with other users. But if from the outset they already assume, for any rookie mistake, that the person is bad and cheater, then they are making a serious mistake that will end up causing more users to flee the platform than enter it.
Also, where is the principle that says that everyone is not guilty until proven otherwise. Even if a newbie uses AI once (which is not the case for me, but I am speaking in a hypothetical sense), instead of condemning it and accusing it of being an abuser, they should guide it not to repeat the mistake.
But beyond that, they accused me of having used AI in my second post, which is not true, but they allege that certain tools gave them reasonable security to say that I did use it. Let's assume for a second that this was true, and I clarify that it is not; who can believe that a person who was already accused of using AI is going to use it again? That is, unless said person was a complete mental moron, it would already know that it is under the constant watchful eyes of people, so why expose itself to being accused of the same thing again?
No, I think that things are already getting out of control here; and I would not be surprised at all if they even accuse me later saying that this post was also written by AI. It's crazy, but I'm sure that under the current circumstances, it can happen again with this or any other post I write, no matter how I write it.
Now, I wonder, is it that we should write very long posts, of extraordinary length, so that they know that it was us, the Hive users, human beings of meat and bone, who really wrote them? If so, let them clarify it once and for all, because when writing any short post, alarm bells can go off for this band of "fake superheroes", who believe they are the defenders of justice, when in reality they are the worst villains.
As I said before
As I've said before, I don't have time to be dealing with this crap, defending myself against unsubstantiated accusations; and having to deal with idiots who think they're right about everything instead of empathizing with newbies and putting themselves in the shoes of them. The truth is that I am too busy a person, who wanted to enter Hive believing that it was a perfect opportunity to write interesting things and learn from everything that other users of the platform write; I thought that Hive was a social platform where you could interact and share with others.
I also thought that Hive was better than Twitter, Face and many other social platforms nowadays, but I realize, because of these missteps, that it can't be better than those platforms, when small groups of people who think they are the Absolute masters of the truth, they control the platform and try to impose their false sense of justice on anyone they simply don't like. They can't seem to understand that when a rookie makes a mistake, if he really is making a mistake, it is due to the rookie's ignorance and not malicious intent.
So anyway, I am not sure about the fact whether it is really worth continuing to be a Hive user or not. But if I leave the platform, wherever I go, I assure you that I will take care of disseminating by all possible means everything that I have learned while passing through here. And contrary to what many may think, what I am telling you is not a threat, it is a promise. If it is, I will tell all my acquaintances my experiences on this platform, so that they don't make the mistake that I made when I entered it thinking that Hive it was something very different and better that it really was.
But I haven't decided to leave Hive yet, even though it's the safest thing to do, if the little group of misfits who keep bothering my account, and disturbing me every time I decide to write a post, continue to do so. Everyone says there's no censorship on Hive, but actually there is, and a lot of it. All those self-proclaimed justicer who penalize all of us who write on Hive, because they are the "defenders" of the ecosystem and its fairness, are actually censors, people who apply censorship at will, and have no interest in to be truly fair, but rather a desire to negatively impact others' accounts in order to damage their reputations and their work on the platform.
It is not a well-intentioned job that they do, on the contrary, they want to control and censor everyone who does something they do not like, or simply those who do not like them. Sad but true! Like I said, I will try to continue writing on Hive, but if these things continue to happen, I'll have no choice but to leave the platform.
