Saturday are for owanbe and Nigeria people people usually celebrate on Saturday such as wedding , birthday and other celebrations. And this is a time when people are off work and have time for relax and have fun with their friends and family.
Some weeks ago I grace an occasion to be precise a birthday function and it was my aunty who was celebrating her 70th birthday.
It was really a wonderful event and her joy have no bound with lot of people who came to celebrate with her. There were a lot to eat jollof and fried rice with pounded yam as a swallow. People in Nigeria prepare so much food to give them different varieties of eat.
I really have fun with different activities done in the cause of the birthday we had devil basket where by people pass basket whereby paper with different question on it will be among the while song will be going on and the dj stops the music and the person who is hold a basket when the song stops will have to pick a question in the basket and the paper will be unfolded and the task will be given to the person and the person cannot perform the task he or she will be fine.
We eat and have fun chatting and smiling to each other. It looks as if we should all be together and continue with the gist.
