Yesterday morning I decided to take a short trip to a bigger village about 30 minutes from where I gave the farm. I had been gearing on the radio there is a bio market every saturday and decided to give it a try.

Its was a little disappointing as there were only 7 selling points from locals, but still managed to get some tomatoes and strawberries.

I went there with a friend and we decided to take a small walk and have a coffee in one of the terraces.

While sitting there, a small van drove by horning several times, it was early and the ambiance was quiet and calm, so the sound of the horning van was quite annoying. When it stopped next to us, some people approached it and the driver stepped out to start selling bread 🙂

On the way back, while crossing another small village, we stumbled upon the house of the photo. It was in very bad condition but you could see it had been a very nice vila. There was an On Sale ad so I decided to check online for some info. Here are some of the photos I found on the real state web page.

The images showed what I was expecting, a beautiful vila which has been left at its mercy probably for more than 50 years. The most amazing was the price they are asking, 250K€. The house looks beautiful but the amount of work and money you have to put there to bring back its beauty is probably and additional 250K. To me, it is clearly way above its value but who knows, they may find a buyer who falls in love with it.

That looks like a mighty fine explore. You could have pretended to be a interested buyer and looked for a way in?

I am pretty sure you could
