Tell them that we are nothing,
that in shadows we echo,
that in distances we wear ourselves out,
like rivers that are alien to the sea.
Tell them that we are polar opposites,
magnets that never attract,
that you are a golden sunset,
and I am the dawn that will not be silent.
Tell them that I am earth and you are sky,
root in the earth, star in the veil,
that in dreams we look at each other from afar,
reflections of worlds that have never been.
Tell them that we are broken mirrors,
fragments of a time that has not been found,
tell them that our hands seek each other,
but fate has separated us.
