On Monday, I finally received my exam grade, and of course, I passed successfully. A sense of relief and pride washed over me, knowing that all the effort and time I had invested in studying had paid off.📚

To celebrate this achievement, my boyfriend and I decided to treat ourselves to something special – a visit to the Društvo mačjih tačk🐈(Cat Paw Society) in Maribor. This is a lovely place for all cat lovers, where you can relax and enjoy the company of these adorable furry creatures.

When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who is a true cat lover. She told us that she has 14 cats, but only five different ones stay in the lounge each day because some of them don’t get along well with each other, so the rest remain in the house. Nevertheless, the ones that were with us in the room were incredibly friendly, playful, and affectionate. They immediately started observing us—some cautiously approached, while others were already comfortably settled on a chair or a shelf, waiting for someone to pet them.

Besides the delightful company of the cats, we were pleasantly surprised by the interesting selection of drinks. The society doesn’t just offer regular coffee and cappuccino but also natural juices made from rose, elderflower, and lavender, as well as various teas. I chose caffe with caramela and juice rose, which was refreshing and had a lovely taste, while my boyfriend ordered a Winter Snowflake Tea Along with the drinks, the owner also brought us fresh fruit, which was a really nice touch to the whole experience.☕️

As we enjoyed our drinks and watched the cats, we noticed that there was also a selection of board games in the corner of the room. Among them were Uno cards, Schnapsen, and Dobble, which was great because it gave us another way to make our visit even more fun. We decided to play a round of Uno while the cats curiously watched the game, occasionally strolling across the table as if they wanted to participate.

The atmosphere in the room was incredibly pleasant, relaxing, and calming. Soft music played in the background, the scent of tea and freshly ground coffee filled the air, and the peaceful presence of the cats created a cozy and homely feeling. While playing and chatting, we often paused to play with the cats, pet them, and admire their playful nature.🎶

Before leaving, we had the opportunity to write our impressions in a guestbook for compliments and suggestions. Visitors can share their experiences, express gratitude for the lovely visit, or suggest improvements. Of course, we wrote compliments because the experience was truly wonderful.✨

Visiting the Cat Paw Society was the perfect way to celebrate my successfully passed exam. Not only did we spend a lovely day in the company of cats, but we also relaxed and enjoyed a unique atmosphere. We will definitely return because this place is a true oasis of peace and happiness for all cat lovers.🐱🩷
