My job as a pastry chef and some sweet creations

Hello Blurt friends. Today I will write about my job and I will post some photos of the creations that I made today at work. First off all let me tell you that I work as a pastry chef in a tourist company that has 2 hotels, a four-star with a capacity of 500 guests and a five-star with a capacity of 100 guests. My job is to prepare 2 buffets every day for each of the company's hotels.

The breakfast buffet that I prepare every day consists of various pastries such as croissants, chocolate pies, apple pies, cakes, muffins, cookies and many different types of bread individually or in loaves.

The dinner buffet consists of many pastries. I make 12–14 different kinds of pastries every day, with the help of my sweet helper, Anna. We make desserts in glasses 150 or so a day, pies, cakes, pasties, and many more kinds of sweet temptations that our customers have a hard time resisting.

The truth is that this job is very difficult and tiring because I am upright all day and I lift a lot of weight. In addition, I have many responsibilities and timelines, so this job can be very stressful at times.

On the other hand, I work in a nice workshop, which is air-conditioned all day because the pastries need low temperatures. Furthermore, I have the chance to create new pastries every day because I am not obliged to follow a weekly menu. I can make whatever I want.
Believe me, the feelings you have, every time you create something new, can't be compared with anything. First, an idea comes to your head, then you think about how to make it happen, and when you finally succeed, you feel ecstatic. So the profession has both good and bad moments, but I prefer to keep the good ones and keep going.

Below, I will post some of the desserts I made today. Most of the photos are captured in the fridge, where I put the desserts that are ready for the buffet. The light is not the best, but you can have an idea. :)
