in GEMS2 years ago

Hello fellow members!

Since it is spring across the world and Spring is a crucial time for plantation as the weather conditions are favorable for many plant species to thrive. Here is my story of plantation along with some tips for planting in spring:

Tip#1 Prepare the soil:
Before planting, it's important to prepare the soil by removing weeds, rocks, and debris. You can also add compost or other organic matter to improve soil fertility.

Step one I followed
I had three plants of Lemon in the yard of my house. Two of them have their seperated space in the tile floor and here is the picture of both👇

While the third one has planted near an alovera plant 🪴 which did not have plenty of space around to grow on. Here is it 👇

So i decided to shift the third plant of lemon 🍋 to another place and prepare the soil for another plants. I started digging the soil around the third lemon to expose it's root and remove it carefully.

After some efforts, I managed to remove the plant 🪴 and this how it looked

Its time to prepare the rough soil for plantation and remove stones etc,. So i dig the rough surface.

I then watered the soil so it will settle down in the place

We are done with tip and step number one. Now our soil is ready for plantation.

Tips #2

Choose the right plants: Spring is a good time to plant trees, shrubs, and many types of flowers. Choose plants that are suitable for your climate and soil type.

Now we are ready to search for our righ plant for that i will visit to nursery tomorrow and look that what we will plant.

Here are some more tips to follow which we will follow step by step in upcoming posts and days.

Tip #3

Plant at the right time: Spring planting should be done after the last frost date in your area. Planting too early can damage tender new growth, while planting too late can lead to poor growth and development.

Tip #4

Water regularly: Newly planted trees and shrubs need regular watering to establish roots and survive. Water deeply once or twice a week, depending on the weather conditions.

Tip #5

Mulch: Mulching around plants can help retain moisture and suppress weeds. Use organic materials such as shredded leaves, straw, or wood chips.

I am hopeful that you will like my blog and stay tuned to see what we are going to plant.

Peace
