- Para mí la palabra “negro” no es ofensiva, todo depende de cómo y en qué contexto se diga.
- Lo que voy a plasmar a continuación son mis pensamientos desordenados con respecto al racismo.
- No estoy menospreciando otras razas.
- Mi intención es mostrarles lo bonito y orgullosa que me siento de mi piel.
- Hablo de las personas morenas en general.
Cómo podrán observar en mi foto de perfil, soy una chica de piel oscura razón por la cual puedo entender y hablar desde mi experiencia y entorno.
First of all, I want to clarify the following points:
- What I am about to say are my disordered thoughts regarding racism
- I am not saying that other races are less or more.
- My intention is to show you how beautiful and proud I feel of my skin color
- I'm talking about people of color in general
- For me the word "black" is not offensive, all depending on how and in what context it is mentioned.
With the above clear, we continue. As you can see in my profile photo, I am a dark-skinned girl, which is why I can speak from my experience and environment. This issue is quite complex, although for many it does not seem so.
Este tema es bastante complejo aunque para muchos no lo parece. Esto se debe a lo muy normalizado que se ha convertido para la sociedad a lo largo de la historia. Claro, no digo que no haya avances al respecto pero aún quedan bastantes secuelas de todo lo que acarrea tener piel oscura.
This is due to how normalized it has become for society throughout history. Of course, I am not saying that there is no progress in this regard, but there are still many consequences of everything that comes with having dark skin.
Cuando me encuentro divagando entre mis pensamientos, me sorprendo por el poder o fortaleza que tienen mis ancestros, y no me refiero a que si tenían tierras o esas cosas sino de su cuerpo, su organismo capaz de enfrentar y adaptarse a diversos ambientes o situaciones según las adversidades que se les presentaban. No es un secreto para nadie que los negros fueron vilmente heridos, torturados, violados y vendidos con el fin de servir. Inclusive no se les consideraban personas, por fuerte que suene se les trataba como animales (que ni ellos merecen ser maltratados) era restringido el derecho a expresar u opinar cuando somos totalmente capaces de utilizar el cerebro.
Quizás precisamente por estás características es que se nos tenían como esclavos en un pasado.

En los últimos años se ha creado un poco más de conciencia al respecto pero sigue siendo una lucha, como el que lucha por su sexualidad, cuál es su orientación y como desea expresarla, ellos son la comunidad LGBTIQ, o aquellas que quieren dar a entender que el hecho de ser mujer no las hace más débiles o menos capaces. Estas batallas presentan algo en común y es que todas exigen respeto.

¿Sabías tú, persona que me está leyendo en este preciso momento, que el pigmento que causa esta variedad de pieles achocolatadas se denomina Melanina? Si no lo sabías me complace saber que acá en este rinconcito lo has aprendido. Pues te cuento que mientras más pigmento tengamos en nuestro cuerpo más estamos protegidos de los rayos del sol, es por esta razón que la personas de piel clara son muy sensibles a los rayos UV y ni hablar de los albinos, cuya condición se debe precisamente a la inexistencia de melanina en su cuerpo por lo que siempre deben protegerse ya que podrían desarrollar un cáncer de piel u otras patologías.

Los hombres por otra parte, muy distinguidos por su musculatura y piel tersa.
I must admit that we are a very exotic breed and I love that. Men, on the other hand, are very distinguished by their muscles and smooth skin.

Me gustaría que me dejaran saber si les gustó esta pequeña escritura y si quisieran una continuación de este post, donde se hablen de aquellas frases pasivo-racistas que a veces sin darse cuenta tienen una connotación significativa que termina influyendo en las personas o como se origina el racismo en niños inocentes del tema, etc.
